Transportation in air-conditioned minivan, travelers will be picked up at the Hotels indicated on the Map (Willemstad, Petermaai, Saliña areas). For passengers arriving on cruise ships, the meeting point will be at the Renaissance Rif Fort Mall, EPSILON Dive Shop, this Mall is a 5-minute walk from the port where the Tourist Cruises arrive. You must arrive at the scheduled time out of consideration for the other clients, you will only wait 15 minutes and after that the tour will be considered completed.

This tour was great. I was provided with all the necessary gear, given a great walkthrough of everything I needed to know, and had an amazing time. My guides made me feel very comfortable and took me through an amazing shore dive. I definitely would recommend to someone who wants to go diving in Curacao!

A Great Introduction to SCUBA

This was my first SCUBA dive after about 60 years of snorkeling experience - it was great. I was the only person on the excursion, had the full attention of the diving instructor for the entire time. I had brought my own mask, with diopter lenses so I could see to operate my underwater cameras during the dive. This introduction to SCUBA requires a PADI e-course (cost included in the fee paid), allow a couple of hours to complete if you know a bit about SCUBA already - a little more if you're completely new to SCUBA. I was picked up near the cruise port and transportation to the equipment shop and then on to the dive site was included, had a minor issue with communications getting picked up but a phone call to the number on the confirmation cleared it up quickly. Study and learn the hand signals in the PADI course! The instructor will give you additional signals to remember before the dive. My 66 year old mind kept confusing a couple of them. Learning them well will make your dive go smoother. The dive required more physical exertion than I had anticipated, part of the learning experience. I learned that breathing control can play a BIG part of controlling your buoyancy during the dive.

Can't wait to return to curacao.

Absolutely fantastic, what a way to experience to joy of scuba diving. My instructor Jason was wonderful, very knowledgeable and patient with me in reviewing my test, explaining what I was getting into, safely procedures. Then the dive was one hell of a thrill, the ocean was clear, the school of fish were beautiful and the coral was colorful, I can wait until I return to experience more of curacao.

First dive - 10/10!

We couldn’t have asked for a better diving experience!!! For context, we had 4 individuals who were new to diving and 1 individual PADI certified. Quincy was our tour guide/ instructor for this excursion and he was AMAZING. Quincy was thorough with the training and made sure to take an individual approach to test preparedness. During the dive, Quincy continuously checked on the members of our group and helped out wherever needed- he made us feel safe under the water. As an added bonus, he is a local tour guide and made sure to give us some history as we navigated to our destinations! I would highly recommend this experience!

My first scuba experience at 70+ with an excellent instructor

Jason is an awesome dive instructor with over 4000 dives! I was the only customer and this was my very first scuba diving experience. The open water dive took us to a coral covered area with many fish and squid and to a depth of 4.4 meters. I snorkel but this is a great introduction to scuba diving. I enjoyed the experience so much that I booked a second dive with Jason upon my return to Curacao. Jason swam nearby and signaled by hand so we could communicate under water. He also adjusted my weights and buoyancy control devise (BCD) to make me neutrally buoyant for effortless swimming. A very knowledgeable instructor. I'm 73 and plan to continue to obtain my PADI card. Thanks Jason!

I have already written one review but I'll write another My ship docked around noon and I didn't realize I was looking for a dive shop and that it would be in a fort, so I was late. Also, I am only certified to dive with a dive master. I was taken to the staging area, outfitted with great new gear and rented a camera case. We drove to the dive site--just me and the driver/dive instructor, Jason. We walked into the warm water and no one else was around. I was astounded at the variety of both fish and coral. We didn't have to go very deep. I was down almost an hour. I was given plenty of water, and snacks when I got back. It was fabulous. My dive buddy instructor gave me some great tips. Can't recommend enough.

Amazing day and dives in Curacao!

We are certified divers, but booked prior to the certification being received. When we contacted the dive shop they totally accommodated us, and set us up with two shore dives instead of the discover diving excursion we signed up for. Could not have asked for more. We did two dives with Adrian. He is very knowledge and willing to share information. He had great dives planned for us with easy shore entry and exits. He provided full service. We were on a cruise with Curacao as a port of call. We were picked up at the port and taken care of the entire day. Beautiful, clear water. We saw so many amazing things on our dives.

My 21 year old son and I did our first diving experience and it was more than we could have hoped for! I think our instructors name was Jason and he was AMAZING! He gave us his undivided attention and we felt right at home. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

Jason was a great instructor for first time divers. My kids 15, 13, and 10 got comfortable very quickly and can’t wait to dive again. The dive site had a lot of fish and a shipwreck. We had a great time. The pick up site was about a .75 mile walk from the cruise ship so prepare for that if you’re cruising.

A trip to remember.

Our scuba trip was awesome. The staff/divers were the best teachers. The dive was comfortable and amazing. The only issue I had was I rented a underwater camera from them and never received pics to my email. They were sent to my friends email but when we viewed them they were of other people's trip and the pics we did recieve of us wasn't downloaded because the link expired before we ended our cruise. I emailed my concern and request to have the link emailed to me with no response. Overall the trip was excellent though just wish I had pics of our first scuba trip.

not so much a bad review of the tour company, but of viatour. we booked this tour & took printed confirmation telling us to visit an address is willemstad - which we got a taxi to as it was about 10mins away from port. it was down a dodgy backstreet - once there - they had no idea what we were talking about, or what we were doing there. and also hadn't heard of the company we had booked through after showing them the paperwork we had. eventually we made our way back to port, at which point we stumbled accross their office - went inside - to be told the tour had already left & there was nothing they could do - we showed the person behind the desk the confirmation showing the wrong address, who said it was provided incorrectly by their office in colombia - he wouldn't even offer snorkel hire to cover the lost cost of the tour. since this - i have contacted viatour for a full refund - who have refused - so this will be taken further until this is resolved. if you want to scuba in curacao - save your time, effort and money and use another company & booking agent. pathetic

I´m sorry for all the inconvenient, but in our confirmation message and our product description is well explained that our meeting point for cruise passengers is in Renaissance Mall, that's a 3 or 5 minutes walk from the port. It's the first time a passenger doesn´t show because can't find the place.
