Make good use of your time in Curacao by taking this Discover Scuba course. With the guidance of a certified instructor, spend four hours going over scuba theory and safety, then do one confined water dive and one open water dive. At the well-known Tugboat dive spot, descend to about 40 feet (12 meters) for your final dive, coming away from the experience having learned a new skill.

Fantastic first time scuba diving. Under super good guidance from the team we were able to get in the water very quickly to practice the basics before heading toward a real dive. Best diving in Curacao

My husband and I took our 8 and 9 year old boys. Hans was VERY friendly and patient with them. He explained the basics of diving in a way that helped them feel at ease. He answered ALL their questions. It was their first time diving. Both were nervous but once they got in the water they felt more at ease. My 8 year old LOVED it and says he wants to go again. The amount of sea life and the diversity of fish and anemone was the best my husband and I have seen yet on a dive. It was our 3rd dive, having been to St. Martin and Cozumel previously. It was like looking in a salt water fish tank only MUCH bigger. Hans has built the reef we toured through his coral nursery program. He personally maintains the reef to encourage this diversity. Hands down best dive to date! 10/10 recommend!

My wife and I did a discovery dive and absolutely loved it. When we arrived, the team was quick to get our equipment sized and handed out to us. The guide was very detailed when he was teaching us about the equipment and hand signals we would use underwater, which put our nerves at ease. After we suited up, it was time to head to the water. We started it shallow water to go over some emergency procedures as well as get comfortable with the equipment. After a few minutes, we were ready to go deeper. The guide was great about watching us to make sure we were always comfortable as we swam along our route. We were able to see some amazing marine life and even saw a turtle resting. The guide was also taking pictures of us and everything cool we encountered and then shared them with us which was super awesome.

Have you ever thought about scuba diving but don't know where to start? You will be in great hands with these guys. They say that anyone can scuba dive even if you don't swim well. The day of my excursion they were doing a dive with a handicapped individual. They were all very personable and were happy to listen and address any concerns before entering the water. In the water you got personal instruction and time to get fully comfortable with your surroundings. On the dive they were helpful to point out fish and other marine life that was crossed along the way. These guys have even created their own coral sanctuary that you pass along the way. We all ended the dive with a greater appreciation for what is beneath the waves. All of them have a passion for what they do. They even had an underwater camera so that they could capture images of the excursion at no additional cost. You can't beat the clarity of the water.

Great for beginners and follow up dives

It was my son's first time and they did quick but thorough education and then practiced what we did in shallow water. Followed it up with a dive across the street. My son loved it so much that he signed up for another dive at the tug boat the next day which was WAY better according to him. Going to do the full certification with them next time we are in Curacao.

Great refresher dive

Hans was a very knowledgeable, attentive, and careful dive leader for a refresher course. Hans carefully reviewed dive equipment, safety procedures, and best practices. We did a great shore dive along a reef, over a sunken tugboat, saw the coral nurseries they carefully maintain for the island, and even saw a coral reef shark off in the distance, a credit to their efforts.

A great experience

Hans is an excellent dive instructor. My wife was apprehensive during the discover dive but Hans helped her to push through and it turned out to be a nice memorable experience. My 12 yr old son also did it and throughly enjoyed himself. Hans even took pictures and emailed them to us. It was a great experience.

Very great experience with this excursion. Transportation was provided to and from our hotel and was on time. I had never been diving before and Dan our instructor was a great teacher for a first time diver! We started in shallow water and slowly moved out to the open waters. Very cool fish and we even got to see a sea horse. If we return to Curacao we will for sure book again!

Best Scuba Experience in Curaçao PERIOD!

This is by far the best place to go scuba, don’t go through your ship. Save the money, and go here. They are MORE than professional, and are super personable. They made our experience insanely fun and made sure we were all comfortable before diving. You get to see soooo many fish, and a sunk tug boat. There was no rush at all, and took at our pace. When I come back to Curaçao I’ll love to come back. They also take photos of you and your group and send them to your email which is fantastic!! Get to see these memories for years to come. Don’t hesitate, book this, the price is insanely cheap for the experience of a lifetime

Incredible first diving experience

Such a great experience and surprisingly easy to learn for a first timer. The introduction in the beginning was clear and simple. We got comfortable using the tank in shalllow water and slowly ventured out. The tugboat is definitely the highlight. So cool!

Great way to learn about Curacao

I signed us up for the discover diving trip thru Curious 2 Dive knowing we would be in Curacao for the day with our cruise. The booking process was super simple, and we received email confirmation right away. I reached out directly to Hans to confirm the pickup point and he quickly responded as well.When we arrived in port, I did not know about the time difference, but Hans had taken that into account and was waiting for us right outside the security gate for port. He drove my husband and I to the drive shop all the while communicating with his staff to make sure everything was ready when we got there. I had been worried about sizing ( I'm a large person ) but Hans and his staff were able to accommodate us just fine. When we got to the shop our gear was ready to go. Gwen drove us to the site where we walked in, we dove the tugboat, a wall and under the tie ups for boats. Gwen took a ton of pictures for us, and was great to deal with. We were a little rusty with our diving skills and this was perfect. Tons of fish, saw lionfish, cow-fish and sting rays. It was really great to see the efforts that Han's dive shop and others in the area are making to re-grow the reefs. They have underwater trees where they are cloning coral. All of the pictures that Gwen took were provided to us for free after our dive! Amazing! And Gwen's pictures came out so much better than the ones we took! :) Thanks!Hans and all of his staff were great! Hans knows so much, there really wasn't a subject he couldn't speak to. I really hope that we get back to Curacao, our visit with Hans, Gwen and his staff really makes us want to come back to Curacao.Thanks so much for a great dive!
