There were 8 in our group and we all enjoyed this tour very much, perhaps even more than we thought we might!!! We wanted to take the opportunity to see as much of the island as possible and understand what we were seeing or where to go when we were on our own. Our guide was Shue and he was fantastic!! Very prompt, very friendly, very knowledgeable and funny too!! Took us some great places and beaches across the island,took us to Playa Forti where we enjoyed our favorite meal during our week long stay on the island!! The grouper and grilled tuna were AMAZING! One of our friends even jumped off the 40 ft Cliff into the beautiful blue waters below!! We visited a blowhole on the island and drove through parts of the capital city!! He took pictures for us at all the places throughout the day!! 7 hours and he never rushed us - they say time flies when you're having fun....and we surely did!!! Would highly recommend!!!! 😊

We loved this tour! Our guide, Juan, was excellent and very knowledgeable. He even stopped at his parents bakery and got us a loaf of cheese bread, which was amazing! Juan’s passion and love for his home really came through and we definitely went places you’re not going to see on the big cruise line excursions. Our son was giggling about the bumps on some of the unpaved roads, so Juan used his drift car experience to add a little extra fun to our ride. Our kids were laughing hysterically. When we asked our kids what their favorite part of our vacation was, they both answered, “the bumpy roads!” We saw viewpoints only locals would know and it made for a truly authentic experience and gave us a greater appreciation for the island and its culture. I cannot recommend this tour or Juan enough!

This was my first time doing a private tour and it was great. It was easy to meet our guide near the cruise port. Juan was friendly and knowledgeable. He let us customize our tour and we were able to visit more points of interest than expected. I’d especially recommend a visit to Shete Boka national park. We also visited several beaches, the distillery, and a lookout point. At the end of our tour we asked Juan to drop us off downtown where we were able to explore more on our own and then easily walk back to the cruise port.

Our time in Curaçao was unforgettable, and a huge part of that was thanks to our incredible tour guide, Juan! From the very beginning, he brought such a lighthearted, fun energy that instantly set the tone for an amazing day. He answered all of our questions with ease, albeit with his personality we were hesitant on the accuracy of some of the tales. He made sure we saw every highlight we had hoped for—and then some.
What really made the experience special was how Juan shared the island’s culture with us. From visiting a charming family-run bakery to relaxing at beautiful beaches, seeing the sea turtles and caves, every stop felt authentic and thoughtfully chosen. His personality made everything feel so personal, fun, and effortless—it truly was everything we wanted and more.
We loved every single moment from start to finish and the day felt more like spending the day with a friend. Juan is an absolute treasure, and we feel so lucky to have experienced Curaçao through his eyes! Don’t hesitate to follow him on social media.

Juan took us on an awesome trip around the island to see beautiful beaches, sea turtles, blow holes, and the beautiful town of Willamsted. He gave us a very good history lesson of the island and brought us to a fabulous spot for lunch to enjoy local foods. I highly recommend taking this tour for anyone visiting Cuacao.

If you want to see the whole island, book this excursion. What had a blast. Juan took us to all the best beaches. Also, got to visit a couple caves, as well as the blow holes. We even stopped at a spot where all the locals eat.

Amazing experience! Ray was AWESOME!!!! I highly recommend this company and private tour. Very knowledgeable and took us to all the places we wanted to see plus extra! He took us to a really nice authentic restaurant on the water for lunch - which was an added bonus. Ray our tour guide was fabulous. We visited the Shetland Boca National Park, Grote Kip, the Distillery and passed through downtown. We also swam with turtles. Ray our tour guide suggested a wonderful place for lunch overlooking the ocean. The food and drinks were delicious.

We very much enjoyed our private half day tour with Juan. He helped us plan our day around the activities we wanted to do and shared some of his local favorites with us. We started our your with the distillery and saw many beautiful beaches, flamingos. Hato Cave, the blow hole in Sheta Boka National Park and many other things. It was a very enjoyable day and I recommend this tour!

We had an amazing day exploring Curaçao! Our tour guide, Juan, was fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience fun and effortless.
We traveled from the east to the west side of the island and saw so many incredible sights along the way. From start to finish, everything was smooth and well organized. He even picked us up right at our hotel, which made things super convenient.
We definitely highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see the best of Curaçao!

He obliged with a smile and even brought us to a great lunch spot with a 40ft cliff jump (we didn’t have the guts to try but many people were and it looked fun!!!)

So happy we chose this tour. It was our first visit to Curacao and got to see so much of your beautiful island with our tour guide Juan. He met us outside at Starbucks, was easy to find with your map, and Juan was there and waiting for us with a smile. He was a very nice young man, loves his job, and very knowledgeable about the island. Juan gave us all the time we wanted at each stop, never rushed us. We pretty much hit all the stops on the suggested itenerary. We started off with the downtown area and the beautiful architecture of the buildings, vibrant colors, and unique bridges. We got our souvenier shopping done first in downtown. The next stop was the distillery and was fun and informative on the process. I enjoyed the samples of diffent liqueors and even bought a few bottles to take home of the local liquers. We went to the seaside and saw an amazing blowhole, and beaches. We went to the turtle beach, we saw a nice turtle and some large schools of pretty fish from the pier. The water was very clear and there were a lot of people snorkling from the beach. Had lunch at the Blue view because Juan's favorite place next door was closed. The views of the seaside and cliffs were beautiful. The food at the Blue View was good but not great. Juan took us to a very beautiful cove to swim after lunch. The water was calm and a beautiful turquoise color. There were cliffs on both sides and a lot of younger people were jumping and diving from the cliffs. It was a large area so we werent near the jumpers, but enjoyed watching them. We so enjoyed spending the day with Juan, he showed us such a good time in Curacao and got us back to our ship with plenty of time to spare!

We had a wonderful day exploring the beautiful island of Curacao with our guide Ray. He was so friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and shared the love of his country with us in such a beautiful way. We saw way more more than we would have been able to see with a large group or cruise ship excursion. We saw the flamingos, sea turtle beach, another gorgeous beach where we went swimming, the Senior Curacao distillery, downtown area shops and bridges, as well as the oldest building on the island, the national park and the blow hole. We stopped at several scenic view points. Ray was the best! Very thoughtful and had noodles and snorkel equipment for our use and extra water and sunscreen on hand. We loved hearing about the Curacao National soccer team from him. Would book again when we bring our kids to Curacao. Thank you for a great day!

My daughter's guide, Ray, was professional, prompt, personable, and very knowledgeable of all things Curacao. He took her and her husband to great snorkeling spots, as well as sightseeing, and was very patient. My husband and I were unable to go due to a last-minute medical issue, but sure wished we'd been on the excursion!!!

We had an amazing day exploring Curaçao with Shue from Around Curaçao Tours! Shue was prompt to pick us up at the resort.
