Pay for two beaches visits, was taken just to one.

We booked this trip expecting to travel to both beaches falassarna and Elafonisi and have a good time at the beaches . We where taken first to a cave that was in the way to elafonisi, when we arrived to elafonisi we stayed a while in there, but there where no umbrellas or chairs that we could rent or weren’t told in advance that was needed, that could have helped so we could stayed more. We stayed like 2 hours in the place and decided to tell our driver to take us to falassarna beach now. He told us that he was told just to take us to elafonisi beach, the cave and to have lunch. Clearly that was not what was stated in our reservation, we show him our reservation and he call the company but nothing could be done now, it was too late to take us to falassarna beach now. We tried to ask to please take us then to Chania center town so we can pass time there instead but the company couldn’t let him go there either. We insisted for this as there was still plenty of time in the in the tour, and the miscommunication was made by the company, but couldn’t help us with that. We told the driver to take us to our beginning spot that was in our cruise ship, there we took a bus shuttle and went by ourselves to have some time in the center of chania. I was too disappointed for what had happened, I told the company to explain to us about how that miscommunication happen. As for now , they have told us it was just a miscommunication by their side, that it had never happen before, but that we could have said and done something also on our side. The reservation was clear and we paid for a visit to two beaches and went just to one. We were offered a reimbursement for the money difference but haven’t receive it still. Driver was kind and try to do his best but couldn’t solve afterwards just to take us to chania town as we still had time, he told us the company wouldn’t let him. If you are reserving this tour, make sure the driver is taking you to both beaches. Bad experience for us.

Dear Guillerermo, We apologize for any inconvinience, but we do not deserve a revenge review. You threatened the driver with bad review and you were so rude, although he was trying his best to propose alternative places to visit, you were arguing that you did not wanna see any other attractions and return at the Cruise ship. Please next time be more polite. All of our stuff deserves respect. We would like to clarify several important points regarding your experience. First and foremost, your tour followed the scheduled plan, with a brief deviation due to a misunderstanding between similar tours we offer — a human mistake from the driver, who immediately contacted us when you raised your concerns. However, we must highlight that the additional attraction you visited, which WAS NOT INCLUDED in your booking - was never mentioned in your review as part of the experience provided for free. Regarding Elafonisi beach, sunbeds are indeed limited due to strict environmental protection regulations. However, as per our standard procedure, we provide umbrellas to all our guests to ensure their comfort. It’s also important to note that at 1:30 PM — when you asked to proceed to Falassarna — it was no longer feasible. Both Falassarna and Chania town are approximately 1.5 hours away, and with the tour scheduled to end by 3 PM, as clearly stated in the official tour description and the government-issued voucher, visiting these locations was not possible within the timeframe. Despite the timing limitations, our driver suggested nearby alternatives, including a restaurant in a beautiful traditional village and another with panoramic views over Elafonisi, which you declined. Unfortunately, your request to extend the tour or to alter the route could not be accommodated, as the structure of the tour is fixed by regulation and for operational reasons, so you decided to make a revenge review without even accepting there was no time to visit the places you asked for. We must also address that during the interaction, our driver was approached with rudeness and was threatened with negative reviews unless compensation was provided directly — something we cannot permit, as our staff deserve to work with respect and in safety. Nevertheless, we had offered a reimbursement for the difference, but you were rude to the customer support as well. We value all feedback and remain committed to providing a respectful and enjoyable experience for all our guests.
