Pick up and drop off in time, comfortable van and good organization.
Only downside is that they take you to several non requested stops like the cafes and long necks which are not mentioned so you loose quite a long time. Also if you dont want to pay the ticket for these extra activities you just wait around

The temples are incredible to see. It is beautiful. Lunch was delicious. We enjoyed all the activities. And our guide and driver were friendly. It is a long day, but definitely worth it.

The temples were great, but for the amount of time you got to see them, was it worth the really long day? I'm not sure.
Too many silly little stops that were a waste of time. Manufactured tourist traps at the side of the road ( hot springs? and longneck freak show that nobody wanted to see) And a silver jewellery shop instead of a breakfast stop

It was incredibly busy, and rushed, and the tour food was HOT food on a HOT day. The transportation was not air conditioned enough and since the tour was SO long there was major heat exhaustion and many people felt sick after the tour. The tour guide was lovely, but too loud and in your face for my liking. I can read the history of these places myself, I do not need someone basically yelling at me the whole time the same information when I am trying to enjoy the tour. All and all it wasn't a great experience. the temples too are in unattractive areas. Although the white temple was spectacular, the area directly around it was so commercial and took away from the whole experience.

This was a wonderful tour. Our guide Rainy made me feel like I was her family. She is so happy and wants to make sure you have an enjoyable time. The driver provided smooth travels and also very friendly. We saw so much in one day but never felt to rushed. Rainy made an extra stop per request of another traveler. The temples are amazing and the extra stops were very enjoyable.

Unlike most tours, I felt a bit rushed on this one. Felt like I didn't have quite enough time at each location. They also forced a Longneck village stop on our group, it lasted around 15 minutes and cost extra to those that went. We just stayed at the van for ethical reasons, so it was fine, but we still lost time that could have been spent elsewhere (such as stops that were actually on the program).

We had a great time seeing all the wonderful temples. The tour was well organized. It was a long drive but we got plenty of breaks and stops in between to break the 3 hour drive there and back. Our tour guide explained and gave us the history of each place before getting there, then let us wonder around and explore the places ourselves.

Listen, You really do get your moneys worth with this trip from Chiang mai to Chiang rai, But it is a LONG DAY. A long day off in and out of busses. Which I know I signed up for, but I think I would prefer to go to chiang rai on my own knowing what I know now. However the tour guide was the nicest person I have ever met and did a good job at explaining everything to the best of her ability. It was a three hour drive to the white temple. One the way there they stop at the hot springs (which are not like American hot springs) you do not get to sit in them, but people do come around sell you eggs to boil if your into that. this is also the first stop to go the bathroom or get snacks. souvenirs or coffee. The next stop was the white temple which we had about ( 1 hour) to explore. It was an okay amount of time to see the things, I just personally think I would have liked to wander more. We then had lunch, it was okay. Then we stopped at the blue temple (30 minutes) then the Big white Buddha (45 minutes) our group voted to check out the coffee/tea garden and it was worth seeing and gave you another chance to get snacks. Last we went to the tea plantation and it was pretty, but just tea and views. Overall it was a good tour if you don't want to go to chiang rai on your own. The temples were beautiful and worth the look at but very touristy. If you want some photos of a white temple without the cloud explore a little more past the main one as they have smaller ones with he same icy aesthetic around.

Our tour guide was great. This is a pretty long tour, we left at 8:30 am and arrived back to the hotel at 8 pm (2 hour drive one way). The guide was great with giving us breaks. The downside to this tour is we had to do our own research during the tour as the guide let us take pictures but did not discuss the history on each stop. The tea plantation is interesting but again no history was explained or what exactly is planted in the area. It’s a good tour but I recommend doing research prior to the tour to get more history for the temples.

Prompt pickup, and good itinerary.
I picked this due to the exclusion of the long neck tribe.
My biggest complaint is once we were driving, there was a slight pressure pitch to go visit the long neck tribe. Fortunately the entire group said no.
The tea plantation is really neat but only a 20 min stop for pictures and to grab a tea. No exploring or guided explanation of anything.

It’s very touristy. As in, the ‘temples’ were all built in the last 30 years, it seems just for the benefit of tourists. It’s very beautiful none the less, just very very kitschy. The guide didn’t speak English very well so we got very little info on anything.

This tour takes the logistical planning out of the equation of navigating from Chiang Mai tomChiang Rai. It is a long 3 hr trek but worth it. There are stops at the 1.5 hr mark and the guide was more than happy to stopped if you needed a potty break as he announced in the beginning.
Visited a few places
1. Quick pit stop at hot springs more potty break or getting food
2. White Temple was great about 1 hr here
3. Blue Temple was interesting and about 30 min there.
4. Red Temple with the Big Buddha was about 45-1hr. I enjoyed this one the most and didnt even know it existed till this tour. Definitely a hidden gem for me without the crowds.
5. Quick stop at the Lolita cafe about 20 min. I didnt go in it was extra.
6. Tea plantation. Interesting and big place that is owned by the ppl that make the beer Shangrila beer.
Then it was the 3 hr trek back to the hotel.
Overall I had a good day with a lot packed in. Id recommend this tour to anyone.

The White temple was well worth the trip. Just beautiful. The guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable on all the sites. Please know it is a long trip and day. Bring lots of water and snacks

This was a great tour. We even got to stop and get a drink at Lalitta Cafe. They made sure we had breaks to use the toilet in between each long drive to and from Chiang Mai. Definitely was a fun day and worth it.

Great selection of places but:
1. No explanations at all.
We had to google everything to understand and know the places we were.
2. Sometimes it's unknown how much time we had to stay because no one told us.
3. The drop off at the end was in so inefficient way so we didn't get to our hotel. We have to walk because the driver was stuck at a traffic jam he could avoid.
4. They lied to us that the hotel is 5 minutes walking but it was 15 minutes walking.
Overall - find another trip with the same places and Lolita cafe. the organization is super messy.

So glad we did this one! We were staying outside of the hotel pick up route but our guide helped us to arrange transport the day before and also for us to return to our hotel that night too. This meant we were the first in the van and the last to get dropped off - all good. It took about an hour to pick everyone up, had a quick comfort stop and then we hit the road. Stopped halfway to have a stretch and a quick bite to eat and then continued up to Chiang Rai. Our guide did well to explain each stop, including the history, brief outline of what we would do, see, and experience. Clear comms about meeting spots and time allocated for each spot so no one got left behind. Visited the first amazing temple and we had a buffet lunch across the road before heading to the tea plantation. Next off to the Red temple - huge site - then to the Lalita cafe for a refreshing drink and beautiful gardens, then off to the Blue temple. Headed south after this one, again stopping halfway for a comfort stop. Arrived back in Chiang Mai around 7.30pm, completed all the drop offs and we were at our hotels around 8.30pm. Huge day, if you have time I would suggest staying in Chiang Rai for a couple of days and doing these sites at your leisure to really enjoy each one. But if you’re on a tighter schedule then this is a great way to see it all with a small group of 12. Really enjoyed our day with the guide and our driver, so friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating.
