Do not do this tour! The night safari and its program is very nice but the zoo is a long way from Chiang Mai old city. We managed to get a red truck there but it took nearly an hour. Luckily our driver agreed to stay but only for 2 hours so we did not get to see much. Yes the tickets were waiting for us but we could have easily bought the tickets ourselves.
If you are interested in going to the night safari, go about 5pm and expect to be there for about 4-5 hours if you want to see all the shows. You get nothing by booking this so called tour.

I booked this tour with the understanding that transportation was included. The day of my tour I was told to find my own way there. Every other company's tours included transport to the safari. Since I had no phone and could not guarantee I could return to the Old City at that late hour the tour finished I ended up not going. Very Very disappointed in this experience will not use Viattor tours again.

Do not buy tickets through an agency, you can just go there yourself and the tickets are cheaper. The animal shows we’re not worth it but the trams we’re actually fun and you get super close to some cool animals. For a night safari, it’s not well equipped because there’s not a lot of lighting to see the animals, and many of the exhibits are closed down.

It's good to hear that the tram ride was enjoyable, but disappointing to hear that some exhibits were closed and the lighting was not sufficient for a night safari. It's also good to know that buying tickets directly at the venue can be a more cost-effective option.
