What a great experience. The tour guide built this tour and has a love for craft beers. He was very knowledgeable and you can tell he has put a lot of thought into the tour. The restaurant was excellent and we sampled a variety of delicious Cretan foods. What a unique experience!

Chania is a great setting to walk about with a great tour guide who is enthusiastic about beers and local food and knows how to pair both. Marie Claire is fun and a great person to guide you around, she is kind, knowledgeable, and fun. Don’t miss this different type of learning about beer as you travel in Crete.

Great beer and food tour! We loved everything about it. Our host MC was super friendly and knowledgeable about beer facts. The food was delicious local authentic cuisine.The beers were very tasty! We would do this tour again if we came back!

I was the only one who booked for this particular night, and the tour still happened! It was such a pleasure strolling through the streets of Old Town Chania with Marie Claire and her business partner whom she brought along for the evening! I learned so much about beer, Chania, Crete, food, where to shop, good places to eat and drink, etc... I was afraid it would be awkward with just one person, but it was a lovely evening, and I'm so grateful!

What a great experience my partner and I had with Marie as she taught us about Greek craft beer and the city of Chania as a whole! You can tell she put a ton of time, thought, and effort into curating the experience and it was evident she has a passion for both beer and Chania’s old town. Could not recommend more, especially at the beginning of your trip if you’re lucky enough to have several days in Chania old town like we were.

Oh my goodness!!! The thoughtfulness with which this tour was planned and carried out was incredible. It wasn’t just the beer and food, but the way in which the conversations and camaraderie were cultivated by our guide. He was so deeply knowledgeable about Chania and its history as well as the Greek craft beer scene which had really evolved in recent years! There was so much food and wonderful beers in top of it all. Maybe my favorite tour of the entire trip to Greece.

We had an absolutely amazing time. From the moment we met, we felt like close friends. We had great local beer, amazing food, learned about the different types of beer, and of course laughed a lot. If you like beer this is a must for you. It was like being out with your friend who is a local and takes you to their favorite locations.

Our guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. The tour is perfect for those that want to learn (more) about the local beer scene and food pairings along with seeing more local places in Chania. Right amount of walking along with places to sit down to enjoy food and beer. Highly recommend this tour and if possible- do it at the start of your visit to Chania so you can revisit places!

This tour was AWESOME! They did a great job of integrating the education of local beers with the historical and cultural context around it, as well has seeing the highlights of the Old Town of Chania!
They were also incredibly organized and we had some great food to pair with the beer!
