Private tour, fantastic views

This was a varied tour though a bit rushed. The sites visited were all well worth seeing and the driver was wonderful. We had one member with difficulty walking and he struggled with the cave and the beach. My group likely would have found the day to be as much, if not more, satisfying without the stop at the beach which really deserves a dedicated day. The cave was more impressive than we thought it would be though the climb of 257 steps was enough to prevent one member from joining. The mountain drive and lovely gorge were well worth it. We felt a bit rushed at the beach which was packed. Wasn’t really enough time to fully enjoy it. The lunch was crowded but the tavern owners were used to the tour crowds and the food was both reasonably priced and excellent quality. The honey and oil stop was excellent. The hostess was informative and gracious. This was the best stop for souvenirs. Our last stop was the winery which offered a generous tasting though, again, we were rushed as a bus tour was coming right behind us. The fact that this was a private tour was a HUGE plus. We had the opportunity to ask questions and get answers that wouldn’t have been possible on a bus tour. The value of using this option is well worth it!
