Great tour and way to sample a variety of local foods. Stella took us to pastries, bakeries, coffee shops, cheese shops, and places to sample honey and olive oils. Lunch was great and we really enjoyed the whole experience.

We had to use google translate to read the inscription on the statue. It was right across the street from where our cruise ship shuttle dropped us off. Stella was a doll. She gave us history of Crete throughout the entire tour. We went to places I would not have thought to go if we were on our own. The food was delicious. It was definitely more than I could eat. We had a great group on our tour. I would definitely recommend you book with Stella. We had a great time.

Stella was very knowledgeable and made sure everyone in the group was comfortable. The places we stopped were of both cultural and food importance. Lunch was a highlight! Can’t recommend this highly enough if you like a good food tour. (Try to book a day when a cruise ship is not in port, the town will be much easier to get around in)

We’ve done food tours before, we love to include them when travelling but the food on this tour was exceptional.

We took this tour with Stella. She was excellent! We were given the opportunity to try a variety of delicious foods. We walked around Chania and received a basic history- Stella was very knowledgeable. We would highly recommend this tour but would warn people to arrive hungry and pace yourself!!

This was an amazing food tour! Stella was very helpful in getting us to the right location. Not her fault at all, but Viator had the wrong meeting point. Always double check! Stella showed us all around Old Town and explained a lot of history. Of course the food was delicious! Highly recommend!!

The Chania walking tour with Stella was wonderful. She led us from the old market to the old town/port and pointed out all of the points of interest and the historical significance. We learned some history while eating some great food: Bougatsa Iordanis for delicious pastry, Almy Vita for cheeses with honey and Tamam for lunch. Those were our favorites.

Really enjoyed Stella's knowledge and familiarity with the city. Stops were not as seamless as other food tours we've done where shops were expecting us and had tables ready, this was not always the case. Confusion at the end among the group because we were told sweets were being ordered and they never arrived and the guide had left. Overall, good experience.

Portion sizes were not overwhelming like other food tours. It was just enough for a breakfast and lunch - especially in the heat. We had an incredible pastry to begin the day (definitely choose the goat cheese option), a spinach pastry, and fried donuts. As we walked around a bit more, we had cheese tasting in the harbour, and then a fuller lunch in a nearby restaurant (TAMAM). I loved the tomato fritters from TAMAM.
Our guide (Stella) was amazing all around. She was very communicative by texting us to confirm the meeting point via WhatsApp and very quick to respond. She was very knowledgeable about the culture, history, and food. We learned a lot about Cretan culture from her. It felt like having a relative show you around their city.

Stella was an exceptional guide. We thoroughly enjoyed our city tour. Her knowledge of local cuisine is quite impressive, she chose amazing dishes for us to try, things we would never have thought to order but were proven excellent. She was very responsive to our messages and questions prior to the trip. She was on time and was overall a fantastic host. This tour director lied. She said she waited 15 minutes for me. I was 8 minutes late due to the cruise bus taking so long and heavy traffic - I was watching my iPhone and watch every minute on the bus so I was very aware of the 8 minutes when I stepped off the bus. She was not there or at least at the place she was supposed to be which was steps from the bus. She did not wait 15 minutes. Then she told Viator that I was sending "non-stop emails" about this. I sent 2 in REPLY to the 2 she sent to me first. I have use Viator numerous times but will never use them again. There are better companies out there that I have taken tours with. In addition, all my prior tour guides for tours on this trip contacted me the night before and some also contacted me again the next morning. This guide did not contact me at all.

Not true. No-Show. We have asked TripAdvisor to remove this review as it is not true and not reasonable under the circumstances. Ten travellers from the same cruise ship arrived on time. We called you several times and you were unresponsive. You made no attempt to contact us whatsoever. We emailed you that afternoon and advised you did not attend the tour or respond to our numerous phone calls. You then emailed back and claimed you could not receive phone calls unless you are on the cruise ship. Further more if you had followed instructions, our meeting point is clearly not steps from the bus. It is the traveler responsible to attend on time. It is also the traveler responsibility to make sure they can receive phone calls when they have booked a tour. We followed all guidelines. You asked for a refund and threatened that unless you receive a refund you will leave a 1 star review. Clearly this review is unreasonable as we followed all guidelines. You also did not attend the tour to leave a review.
