You have to bring your own itinerary because the guide had no suggestions of us. Rather than being toured we had to make a selection of spots from a the tourist maps in our hotel.
dAlso you should be willing to walk from parking area to the site at each stop because driver was unwilling to drop us close to the entrance. My wife has mobility issues and was unable to walk to most sites so our day was limited.
Overall, we thought that the driver was totally uninterested in helping us explore and was happy that the day was cut short (about 2 pm rather than the expected finish time of 5pm.
We have taken other tours with Viator and always been pleased and felt they were a good value but this trip was the polar opposite. OVER PRICED AND UNDER DELIVERED.
We had a great visit with the welcoming people of Wales but this was definitely the low point.

I'm sorry you did not enjoy the day, even though you told me at the end of the day you did enjoy it.
As explained in the listing custom tours are planned on the day, after the driver discusses your likes and interests, or any where in particular you would like to visit. We then plan the day there and then to make sure we only include places we think you would like.
Cardiff and the surrounding area has a large variety of places to visit, and things to see and do, and different people like different things. The purpose of our custom tours, is they are tailored to each individual guests likes, so we show them places they will like, and avoid places they wont like, to ensure they have an enjoyable day. This was also explained in our communication with you ahead of the tour.
At the start of the tour, I asked what sort of things you like, and didn't like, so I could recommend places you may like to visit. Before we met, you had already chosen a couple of places you would like to visit and I based the day around the places you had already decided you wanted to go in the time that was available, and I was happy to take you to them. Had you not already chosen some places, I would have been happy to recommend places to go.
After visiting the places you had chosen before we met, I recommended a couple of other places I could take you too, based on what sort of things you had told me you would like to see. I told you what each place was like, and how far they were, and out of the options I gave you, you choose which ones you would like to see.
As the day progressed, I tailored the tour to your likes, and interests, just as described in the listing, and in all communication ahead of the tour.
At each place I parked as close as I physically could to the entrance. Unfortunately, at some places the walk from the nearest available parking to the entrance is further than others, and that is beyond our control.
As the day progressed, I tried to tell you about the various places I was taking you to, the history of them, and the history and culture of Wales as a whole, but you were not interested, were not listening to me, and kept interrupting and talking over me, so I got the impression that you were not interested in listening to me, so I stopped giving you any commentary.
After Caerleon, you decided you had seen enough, and wanted to end the tour earlier. This was your decision, even though I was happy to continue the tour for the rest of the day, and even made a couple more recommendations of places to go but you said "It's ok we are tired and want to go back to the hotel"
After arriving back at your hotel, you thanked me, told me you enjoyed the day, and gave me a tip
Very comfortable vehicle and David was very professional and knowledgeable. Took us to all the areas and towns on our list and gave historical background
