My tour was switched to “Lions Head Sunrise hike” due to the cable car being shut down for regular maintenance- I chose to switch as I didn’t want to hike up and down due to time restraints with my schedule. This hike did not disappoint !! Don was a fabulous Guide!!! Funny, personable and very very knowledgeable with years of experience ! The views were amazing!! Watching the sunrise will stay with me for years!! Highly recommend this tour with this company!!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our morning hike up Table Mountain! Brad, our guide, communicated well before the activity so that everyone arrived on time and prepared. He was engaging, informative, attentive, and most importantly got the group up the mountain. It was a lot of steps, and I will for sure be sore tomorrow. The hike itself is a challenge, but well worth it once you reach the top! Thank you Brad for a fabulous morning!

It was challanging experience but doable for everybody with great assistance of our guide Claudia. She picked me up on time. During our hike she helped everybody to get up safely and at the same time enjoy our hiking activity. We got from her a lot of information about fauna and flora as well as life in Cape town. Highly recommend to do this hike with her. It took almost 4 hours to reach as we reach up as we did couple of breaks to enjoy views.

More than a hike!

We booked to climb on Monday 18th 2024. We had great communication with our guide prior to meet up. Our guide was Idrees and he was absolutely fantastic, he even checked how we were planning on getting to the meeting point in the morning which was really helpful. We had to complete a self assessment the day before about our ability level. This must have determined the route Idrees took us. We were a group of 6 and we were mostly all of a like mind! Ambitious but also a bit nervous! Idrees took us the India Venster route, which is known to be tricky! There was some hairy moments as we scrambled and did some rock climbing on route. Idrees was a great teacher and whilst there were times I was not sure m could climb a boulder, he helped me achieve it and the sense of achievement afterwards was amazing! I’d recommend if you like to be a little out of your comfort zone, this hike wasnt a gentle stroll. But I think as long as you’re honest in the self assessment they will match you to the right route. This same route also has the best photo opportunities, Idrees knew all the best stops and offered his photography skills for those of us who want the ‘insta’ shots. Otherwise, we felt totally safe on the guided tour. Idrees was very experienced and knew every part of Table Mountain, often providing help or advice to lone hikers (especially if they looked lost!!). Orders also told us a lot about his own life as we walked and talked about the history of South Africa. We also were shown lots of interesting plants and flowers, some of which smelt amazing! You get more than just a ‘guide’ on this trip. It was really special and whilst we were lucky to get a good group of similar people I think Idrees was really skilled at keeping us all together. It was lovely finishing the trek with a beer at the top. What an achievement!

I had a great time hiking Table Mountain! Tred was a wonderful guide. The hike was tough but doable and we stopped often. Our group decided to go to the other side of Table Mountain for the way down to get different views, which I would recommend doing instead of going down the way you came. One thing to be aware of is that you are climbing up the back of Table Mountain, not the front. I had never been so I didn’t know the difference but it came up during the hike. The views are just different! Our guide said going up the front would have been a full day excursion, and I liked that this one was a half day. I would absolutely recommend this hike!

What an amazing hike up Table Mountain! I was so impressed by the dedication and care that Kieron and the rest of the team showed me. The hike was one of the more difficult ones I’ve ever done, but with a guide like Kieron I felt confident and comfortable. The day was a great way to spend my last morning in Cape Town. Definitely a great adventure!

Amazing hike! Kyle is so knowledgable about the fauna and flora as well as the culture of Cape Town. It was great to be taken on an interesting route that was not populated with people and watch a bit of the sunrise as part of the experience. Got some great images with Kyle’s recommendations. From beginning to end, Kyle and his team were amaizng, great communication, he recomend the most beautiful day to do our hike, and knew ever part of the trail with excellent knowledge of the fauna and flora the wildlife and history of the mountain and city. Highly highly recomend this with Widevision travel We loved it so much that we book a bunch of out tours and experiences with them as they do it all!! Kyle was an amazing tour guide and the whole group had a blast. He did a great job catering to everyone's preferences and needs (fear of heights, ability, pace) and took breaks where we learned about the mountain and its flora/fauna.
