I’ve never had so much fun in a Catamaran before. The crew was so attentive and kind. Paola made sure everyone was safe during the snorkeling. I got so many breathtaking pictures. The lunch was the most delicious sandwiches I’ve ever had, maybe it was because I worked up an appetite, but drinks and food were so good. No regrets, all fun!

Lovely day, boat wasn’t too full and crew (Ivan + everyone else) were amazing. Drinks never stopped and snorkelling was great. All around good vibes. Transport/ bus was air conditioned (just a little long but not anyone’s fault). Thank you!

Wolf, Captain Martin, and the rest of the crew made for a wonderful day out in the ocean. We sailed out to the coral reef and snorkeled for about 40 minutes. The winds were super strong so this was the perfect about of time. After that we docked the boat in calm water where we could paddle board and lay out on a water mat. Overall, it was a perfect day.

A booze cruise with a little fun in the sun!

The reef is gorgeous. So many fish and different marine life! The guides are very friendly, fun and work very hard! They really know their job and are very professional. The tour is more focused on drinking on the boat than time exploring the reef. The group is very large, like 25+ so you get knocked around by people and it's a bit chaotic in the water. I recommend you hang back as much as possible. Small groups going out would have been better but then people would have to wait to drink. Swimming ability really varried and I was almost pushed into the reef a few times. This is not a good thing and could result in serious injury or damage to precious coral. You are only snorkeling for 30min max You get to relax in a shallow near by for about 40 min which was fun. I would say the focus was on the booze cruise which wasn't my thing but overall the team did a great job. It's a 45 min ride out and on the way back they slowed down so we didn't arrive at the dock early resulting in a 1.5 hour ride back. You can only drink after the snorkeling so this timing was intentional. Go if you want and like to party, find another tour if your focus is on snorkeling. It all depends on what you are looking for!

Absolutely amazing time but then we bought a photo package from the photographer which was almost $300 US and never received the photos. I’m so sad because I got to swim with a turtle and he documented it. Hoping I can still get all our photos somehow..

Good half day excursion with some suggestions

Beautiful boat..very clean. Transportation to Cancun from Playa was right on time. Organized getting us onboard. Boat staff was friendly. Not 5 stars for a couple of reasons: there were families with young kids and music being played was explicit; floating mat was older and worn and did not float above the water once u laid on it; sandwiches were good but there was nothing else offered..chips, pretzels or other snack would have been a nice add. Reset action calls out ‘Life Jackets’. Only waist belts were offered so I didn’t feel secure to snorkel..also, water was rough and distance the snorkelers were taken from the boat was way to far for me. Would have been nice to have a crew member for a group who wanted to stay close to the boat.

More of a booze cruise than a snorkeling adventure.

The crew was funny, welcoming, attentive and professional. The boat was nice, big and well maintained. That being said, this is more of a booze cruise than a snorkeling adventure. It was also a larger group than we expected with between 40-50 people being onboard our catamaran. Most of the trip is filled with loud music & alcohol, which is fine if that is what you enjoy. If you are more interested in snorkeling I would suggest booking a private excursion elsewhere. We were allotted 35 minutes of snorkeling time in which we all had to stay together as a group. There is no going off on your own or taking time to explore. The lunch was just a sandwich, nothing special. Overall it was just okay. My friend and I were more interested in snorkeling so we were underwhelmed in that regard. However, if you are looking for a booze cruise with a bit of snorkeling then you will have a great time on this excursion.

Ivan was the best ! Really fun snorkeling trip for anyone in the Tulum area that wants to get on a catamaran! Open bar with tequila and vodka. Boat was nice as well!

We liked the small 20 person group size, the catamaran, sail and crew were great but once they have you back on land the service goes away. Our group had to wait on the street for one hour and 20 minutes for our ride back to our hotels. Several of Cancun Adventures vans came and dropped more groups off and left empty to pick up more people. We asked several times to get on and no, not our van, they always had an excuse. A party of 3 got their own taxi after 1 hour of standing on the sidewalk. After they get your tips they truly don’t care, they know exactly what time they have you back at the dock because the next group is getting ready to leave. If you go plan on a long wait after. We also had 4 very drunk obnoxious people who kept getting worse after the boat while waiting for the van so the ride back to hotels was not enjoyable either.

I would recommend this trip to anybody! We had a great time from check in to arrival at the dock. The staff was phenomenal and so hospitable, they would bring us drinks and made sure we were ok the entire time. We went to the reef first with a guided tour and saw so many fish! We then went to a second location for swimming/paddleboarding. The area was protected and shallow so we could stand up in a nice sandy area. The entire time drinks were flowing and food was good! We did not get sick from food/water so you can trust it! We would do this again in a heartbeat, highly recommended!!!

At first very disappointed, as we specifically booked a smaller boat,Which was for max 30 people. We were informed we’d be on boat 23 which turned out to have around 50-60 people on it. However, we made the most of it, had fun,enjoyed the snorkelling and swimming.the captain and crew were fantastic. The bar had every variety of drinks and beverages and the sandwiches were good.Had a fantastic time overall. Thanks to the crew once again!

This day could’ve been perfect if we had been given the small detail that the waters were too rough to snorkel. We spent an hour traveling out and another hour traveling back on rocky waters leaving many in my group sick. In my opinion if you have boat business, you should know the water conditions before sailing out. We spent two hours sailing out to only end up at the Laguna and enjoy an hour in the water. The light lunch provided is indeed a light cold cut sandwich so eat before you head out.

Everything was awesome except we didn’t get to snorkel at the reef due to cloudy water. Not the fault of anyone, but we spent a lot of money to snorkel and all we did was ride on a boat and sit in a little area right next to our port. I think a partial refund should have happened.

While the experience was just fine, the tour name could use tweaking. Snorkeling lasts only about 15-20 minutes, disappointingly. I thought this would be the primary activity, and the snorkeling area is fantastic, but we spent so little time there. We did the afternoon tour, and "lunch" was sandwiches brought out at 3pm, at which point we were starving. This is primarily a booze cruise for people who want an open bar and lots of alcohol. That's fine, but we went into this expecting something different. On top of that, we had to travel a long way to meet our ride -- pick up was not included because we stayed in an Airbnb. It added a lot of extra time to our day; actual pick-up from our location or closer to it (rather than a 45-minute walk across town or the added expense of a taxi ride) would have made the experience better.

Be aware that no matter what Viator says this adventure is not in Cancun. It is 53 miles away in Riviera Maya! And they will not pick you up at your hotel even though that is part of the package.

My husband and I went on this excursion in Jan 2025. It was such a wonderful experience. From the punctual nature of the pick up, to the crew on the boat to drop off. Everything was organized and ran smoothly. We were on the adults only cruise and I would HIGHLY recommend for couples. Selene was our tour guide, and she was bubbly and fun. The water was a bit wavey so the snorkling wasn't as clear as it could have been but what can you do? We LOVED the fact that we dropped anchor and hung out for a while. The atmosphere of our cruise was a chill party cruise. All and all would highly recommend.

Tour operators were on-time and professional. They clearly communicated the plans for the day and executed flawlessly. The lunch was delicious. The snorkeling was only 30 minutes, so manage your expectations. We had hoped it would last at least 45 minutes. We ended up with great photographs of the outing. Really enjoyed the opportunity to paddle board and swim. Overall, the experience exceeded our expectations.

The whole experience was great. Paloma was funny and knowledgeable. The boat was spacious, the drinks were great, and the snorkeling spot we went to was lovely. The food was surprisingly good- I wasn't expecting much- but enjoyed all of it. The only thing I would recommend changing is the playlist- it was very random- but that's a small problem to have.

Excursion canceled an hour AFTER we were scheduled for pick up. Ruined our day and had no time to book other excursion. Not professional and had no courtesy to tell us it was canceled before scheduled pick up time. BEWARE!

The entire experience was awesome. We’re visiting Mexico from Florida on our honeymoon and after missing our transport in the morning, the team accommodated us when it was our fault and got us on the afternoon tour. All of the staff were super friendly and fun and the other couples were all super nice and friendly. The drinks were flowing, you never were empty handed, and the snorkeling was super cool. Made our trip!!

Very well organised and attentive crew. Plenty of time to swim and snorkel. Good lunch with a variety of food and drinks flowed well. The long trip to the coral reef is not too far. Drop you off about 50m away and guide you over whilst boat moors about another 100m away in shallow water. Highly recommend.
