Fantastic afternoon with the hubby snorkeling! Great tour guide, bartender, and captain! They made the experience so fun! The description says beer, but other drink options were available as part of the excursion. Would absolutely do this again!

We did the 9:30 a.m. tour and it was not a great experience. We have taken many catamaran snorkeling tours and this was by far our least favorite. The picture shows a small group of people with room to lounge and enjoy the ride which is what we have experienced with other tours, but in reality, they packed us in like sardines leaving no room to move. There was no "cruise", it was merely circling around within a short distance of the pier to kill time. The description states that there will be two snorkeling stops of 45 minutes each. The first stop may have been 45 minutes but the second was 20. There was very little to see while snorkeling other than a few sea turtles. Some of the music that was played was about as vulgar and disgusting as it gets which was especially disturbing considering the amount of children on board. Once we got back to the pier we were told that transportation would pick us up at 2:30 which left us about 2 hours of free time. The tour info said we would have free access to Maroma beach but did not mention that we would be prohibited from using any of the chairs or tables that were there. We left our resort at 8:15 and did not get back until close to 4:30 wasting an entire day of our vacation.

Unfortunately, the hotel they partner with, Hotel El Dorado Miroma, is discriminatory.
After receiving our lunch, they discretionarily opted to sell slices of pizza to hotel GUESTS as opposed to non-guests. They tried to gaslight and insunuate that I misunderstood, but both the chef and client services manager admitted to having been willing to make that level of compromise as described above.
The activity in itself was fun and entertaining; no negative feedback to Omar and his crew for they did phenomenal to ensure our fun throughout the time allotted, particularly the birthday surprise they had for me and my girlfriend celebrating her birthday.
They really need to have a solid written posted policy instead of making one off, exclusive exceptions because it makes for a poor experience for others who are trying to enjoy the gap in time for waiting for a return shuttle.
To be discriminatory in this way is an absolute mockery of the hospitality industry it’s entirety.

Straight up the boat was tiny and had to squeeze on the front to sit down. Finally had a chance to sit at the back in seats which made it more easier so I could relax. I’ve been on 20+ catamarans and this is the smallest but the most $$. Price needs to go down to equal the bad seating and this didn’t have any food unlike the others. The dock charge is pathetic because you then equal the big boat size where they have food and good seating. Time on the water was very short and we didn’t go anywhere. Rating 3/10. The crew was great though.

Nato was a great instructor. The crew waa super attentive and nice. The drinks were good and the experience of meeting others was amazing.

The catamaran experience was fantastic! The crew treated us really well and we had a fantastic time.
Our time at the beach club was underwhelming, and the transportation home was confusing but overall I would highly recommend and would do again.

Very good - but I'd recommend bringing your own full face snorkel if you don't get along with the old style where you have to bite down. Boat crew and drivers were good and helpful, but afterwards in the restaurant / cab collection was a bit chaotic.

Overall great experience minus the pizza and the extra fee when checking in that’s why I gave 4 out of 5 stars

Last minute changed the pickup location and would not budge. Could not make it to the new location at proper time. Refused to give refund. Very unprofessional, they should not have confirmed the reservation if pick up location was unavailable

First time in Riviera Maya. Great few hours on the ocean. An opportunity to relax and take in some great sights. Awesome crew.

I would not book via this provider again, that’s why I posted a photo of the excursion contacts directly. The transportation was 15 minutes late & it was removed from the excursion’s time. Bummer.
The team of Marina Adventures was incredible! They welcome you, take care of every single aspect. Mask, brand new tuba, fins, variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were offered. We snorkelled for over 1km at the first stop and Carlos, our guide, showed us different types of marine lives 🐠🐚 it was memorable!
Also, we were lucky to be the only two on the boat that afternoon so it was close to a VIP treattment! That being said, I highly recommend you book the PM excursion as they are less likely to be crowded! Enjoy xo

We were not able to attend this and they would not give us a refund. This tour is listed as 3 hours but it is at least 5 1/2. We did not know this until after we booked. We had something planned that afternoon which we would have had plenty of time to do if this event was around 3 hours as it is listed. They will not give us our money back. Just know if you go on this it will be an all day event, not 3 hours.

Great trip! Staff was amazing! Boat was great. They served beer, water and soda during the entire trip. Great service.
Karin_I, Mar 2023
The staff was super friendly and energetic. Our tour guide in the water navigated us to some great sea life. Super knowledgeable as well

The snorkeling tour itself was good and we had a good time. Unfortunately the $10 credit per person for the Maroma Beach Club was not valid as the facility told us that they do not honor the credit with the snorkeling tour. They do for other tours but not snorkeling.
Angelica_M, Nov 2022
Only giving 4 stars because the $10 credit per person was not valid at the club. Otherwise it was a wonderful experience and the crew was super helpful with making sure we were able to see different types of fish.

Very excited to share this vacation with my sisters. Very nice staff who were helpful and would take time to show amazing sea animals during snorkeling.
Zandra_J, Nov 2022
The people that work there are not accommodating or friendly. There was a mistake with the number of people and they ended up charging us an additional person then made a cost mistake they were so incredibly rude zero customer service. Also it says you get a voucher you DONT get anything other than the snorkeling and water/soda. I would not do another tour there.
Alex_W, Mar 2022
The beach was clean and not crowded. I would have liked other beer options. But, snorkeling and the staff were good.

This was a nice excursion, but I think there are a few things that could have made it better. First, hotel pickup was on time and a short drive to the Maroma beach club location about 30 mins north of Playa del carmen. After checking in, we received our snorkel equipment and boarded the catamaran about 9:30 am. It was nice to be with a small group (approx. 15 ppl). Carlos and boat crew were awesome! Beer and water included. Snorkel at the reef was only about 30 mins. Beautiful experience in nice water that covered corals and grassy areas. If you are a strong swimmer you're not required to wear the life jacket. After that, a long(er) ride to a shallow water area to swim. I didn't find this totally necessary. As another review stated, more time actually snorkeling would have been better. Most the time was on the boat and just standing on a beach. Afterwards, lunch at the club area. This was pretty disappointing - only offered a small salad and choice of tacos or fajitas. The food was not worth an extra $20. I would have preferred returning to my all inclusive hotel for lunch. The return to hotel seems to run at :30 on the hour. So, we could have taken the 12:30 at end of tour but stayed until the 1:30 because of lunch. This wasn't really explained upfront and we had to ask at the end of the tour. So value for price on this tour wasn't really there for me. I think this tour should be priced in the $60 range. That said, everyone we encountered from drivers to beach and boat staff were super friendly and provided great service.

Excellent tour. We enjoyed it very much. The tour crew is awesome. Juan Carlos and Luciano made sure we enjoyed every minute of this tour.
