Our scuba instructor couldn't make it the day of. However, Arthur took overband did a fantastic job! He kept it simple and made sure we were prepared, before transitioning from pool to ocean. He's a great instructor for first-time divers, like myself!

Its not for 1st time scuba divers!!! you get less than 10 mins in the pool for practicing scuba gears and less than 10 mins which they call in class training. Highly disappointed as I got a group to do this excursion and they it ruined their experience dur less to none enough information

We gave you the entire class with all the infomation and safety rules. It is out of our hands you got really sick at the boat.

We are deeply disappointed by the rejection of our refund request caused by Coconut Divers. Here are the facts:
On December 23, 2024, while we were boarding our flight to Cancun, Alex from Coconut Divers contacted us via call and text, requesting a change in the check-in time from 10:00 AM to 8:00 AM on December 24, 2024. Although this was an inconvenience, we agreed to accommodate the change but made it clear that one member of our five-person group would have to miss the event due to the revised schedule. Coconut Divers acknowledged this and agreed to adjust the participation to four people.
The following day, we paid an additional equipment fee at the dive center for four participants and proceeded to enjoy the scuba diving experience. After returning to New York, we submitted a partial refund request of $109 through the Viator website, as only four adults participated due to the time change initiated by Coconut Divers. To our surprise and frustration, the refund request was denied.
Given that the reduction in participants was solely due to Coconut Divers' last-minute scheduling change, we strongly believe the denial of the refund is unfair. We kindly request that this decision be reconsidered and the refund be issued promptly.

Your VIATOR reservation ticket state you need 24 hours to cancel and get a full refund. If you just show the day of the activity using a third party for a reservation will make difficult to get a refund. Next time you should try using the dive center for a reservation.

The team at Coconut Divers was great! This whole experience is fantastic. They took so much time and care to make sure we felt safe and confident before the dive. The reef and the museum were both so beautiful. It was a really special time. I brought my aunts with me, and they were kind and patient with them and made sure they had fun, too!! Coming back to them!

The best bit of the holiday
My boys are only beginners scuba diving and have only been in a pool in the U.K. but the instructors were amazing and they were rapidly on the boat and then diving in the sea. Absolutely knackered when they came back. Thoroughly recommend this company

We had an AMAZING time! Ganzado, Poncho, and Ricardo were the absolute BEST! The lesson was very detailed and they calm any nervousness you may have about diving. Poncho takes wonderful photos of you underwater - the photos made the experience 100x better. No need to worry about bringing your own camera. We saw so many schools of fish, lobsters, and even an octopus. Would highly recommend! The 2 tanks is SO much better than a 1 tank dive!

Gonzalo, Eulysses and the captain were all amazing. I was unfortunately the weak link of the group: after getting in the water, I got too panicky to do the first dive, kept on getting water in my mask and couldn’t bring myself to get it out. I stayed on the boat and threw my guts out from sea sickness lol! Nonetheless they didn’t give up on me and I’m so grateful for that! When my stomach gave me a break the captain recoached me on how to breathe and clear the water out of my mask and all that, which made me confident enough to go on the second dive. They were all so kind, patient and encouraging that I was able to do it somewhat smoothy and felt very safe despite my body rejecting this experience haha. The experience itself was very enjoyable and we saw lots of beautiful fishes. If I was able to do it, literally anyone can. Muchas gracias por todo!

I wanted limitless time to look around and see what was down there. The scuba guide was knowledgeable and kept us safe. I would’ve liked more time to practice in the pool. We ended up with like 2 hours of nothing between pool practice and leaving the dock. FYI once you get there, there's an extra 43$ charge per person so come prepared.

The dive went well. It was a little overcast so pictures didn't turn out as good as they could have. We saw lots of fish and one medium sized turtle. Would recommend.

1. They really need to do better with directions because I was provided with three different ones on the app. It is literally behind the restaurant.. that’s all we needed to know.
2. One diving instructor vs nine beginners is not a good ratio. Which leads me to lack of a patience shown.
3. If you don’t speak Spanish good luck! After being basically kick out the ocean, I was stuck on the rock with the captain sea sick with no assistance.
4. Mr. Alex is too curious for me asking a black woman how she washes her hair is so juvenile.

We checked and all the apps are very clear how to make it to the dive center ... Even a picture of the entrance.
We ONLY work with small groups wit great costumer service ... How ever ... We can´t prevent some people getting seasickness even with a flat ocean ...
Our Captain Ricardo is a nice person and he was helping you all the time ...
We understand getting seasickness feels really bad but there no reason to blame the universe for it.

Unfortunately, my husband and I were late because we had a car accident in the parking lot. My husband and I went to the office to ask to reschedule, but they encouraged us to go on the dive anyways. Our instructors were so kind and helpful, and put us at ease. The dives are listed as only being 30 minutes each, but we dove for about 45 minutes each time. It was an amazing experience! My only 2 complaints are (1) the lack of parking - this tour does not offer pickup so you have to drive or get Lyft/Uber/taxi and (2) there are no snacks or towels offered on the way back, and you cannot bring snacks and towels with you. It takes about 45 minutes to get out to the dive site and 45 minutes back, after swimming for an hour and a half. All of us were hungry and cold on the return. Otherwise, I highly recommend this tour and our instructors - my husband and I loved it!!!!!

This was my first time scuba diving and it was magical! The crew were all amazing! I was a little nervous having never done it before, but the staff all went above and beyond to make it comfortable and fun! I will definitely be scuba diving again, and have this team to thank for developing a new passion in me!

We went as a group of 6 including friends and couples. We loved the experience as beginners, instructors were very friendly easy to understand and welcoming any questions. Diving into the sea is a very unique experience, especially for people with passion for aquatic life. Overall we went 2 tanks, 2 dives each ~30 min. Also this agency can help with acquiring professional licenses if you want this experience to become a hobby.
