We didn’t get to go. We tried to still go despite the rain, hoping that it would let up, but when we got there, it was too cold and rainy and muddy. We never got a refund or even a partial refund because you said that we would keep our fingers crossed and hope that the rain let up. The people at the stables were Lovely and so the one Stars for them. They offered to take us two days later, told us to let them know if we wanted to come that day, but it didn’t work into our schedule and you were leaving the following day and had to drive 50 minutes to get there. When I asked for even a partial refund, we were denied because the horses were saddled. Not to mention that the woman was very rude about it and said that we weren’t thinking about time to saddle the horses, which is why only asked for a partial refund, not to mention the fact that my husband even offered cash to the gentleman there, but he refused. Considering that this activity is completely dependent on the weather, I cannot remotely understand why we would not be offered at least a partial refund. We were already on the road driving 50 min from Cadiz about 15 minutes away when we were asked if we wanted to still go on the ride, but she did not say that us saying let’s see if the rain lets up determined whether or not we could get a refund. I was very unhappy with the company and whoever was running it. The family at the actual place was very nice though, and I would’ve liked to ride with them, but it is my understanding that the person I was speaking to you was not even there. So it certainly was not their fault. My issue is with the company and whoever was making the decisions. And then she was like you can still do it another time. this was the trip that we saved up and planned for years I don’t think we will be coming back to Cadiz to ride horses from the United States.!!! if we had gotten to go, it might’ve been very nice. But the business aspect of this leaves much to be desired.

The experience was great. The guide was extremely nice. But know that it is not close to Cadiz. It is an hour drive from the city. I am not sure if public transportation goes that far out. We were going to take the bus from Seville but couldn’t figure out where to go. We ended up renting a car to get there and back. In summary, the activity is great. Getting there is a little tricky (otherwise I would give five stars).

The ride was truly magical. I gifted it to my mom, and she was genuinely moved to tears when she experienced it today. Previously, she had done a “beach ride” in Italy, which turned out to be a disappointment – it lasted only five minutes on the actual beach. But here, the ride went on for a full 1.5 hours along the beach. Absolutely speechless. Incredibly beautiful. The owners are very kind and welcoming, and everything was clearly explained in English. I would book it again in a heartbeat. 10/10!! Btw… the cat is cute too!;)

We do not typically leave negative reviews. This experience, however, did not go as expected. It is not one for beginners. Very little instruction or safety guidance was offered, and this became apparent when one of the horses ran off with our 21 year-old son, running extremely fast and uncontrolled for several minutes. The guide was unable to catch him or slow him down. We did not feel comfortable continuing and ended the ride early. The directions on Viator are also incorrect and we had trouble finding the location, which caused delays in arriving. The guides and hosts all seem very nice and it is a beautiful location, and they told us this was a rare occurrence, but it did happen and was not what we expected. Not commenting here to complain but to make sure others are aware of what they are getting into and to suggest better procedures on explaining safety and how to handle the horses. Many thanks.

Gracias por tu comentario. Como te comentamos anteriormente, no es normal que sucedan este tipo de cosas. Dejaste claro que tu hijo montaba muy bien (lo cual era mentira) por eso se le dio un caballo mejor. Nunca debes decir que sabes montar si no es así. Los guías dejaron en claro las instrucciones y también notaron la falta de atención de vuetra parte, por lo que si no se supo sobrellevar la situación fue por no haber escuchado atentamente. Possibly the best memory in Spain. Nico is calm, exudes confidence and, while my daughter and I had not been on a horse for decades, he gave simple directions. The scenery is magical, we had a ride that was just enough but a memory that will last forever. I highly recommend this experience. Churches, museums and restaurants are lovely but riding a horse on the beach? A true OLÉ.

This experience is one for the books. On our last night in Cadiz, I surprised my boyfriend with sunset horseback riding on the beach. Teresa and Emily were amazing guides and extremely helpful to us beginners. We rode through local farms, the dunes and the waves with the hills in the background. My horse wanted to lead the way.

Wow.. thanks to all involved; humans and animals for a fabulous beach ride! As we are experienced riders we were able to ride polo horses for a morning gallop along the beach and natural habitat. I’m a beginner and I was a bit nervous, but everyone was so friendly & the horses were great. We had some trouble finding it, since it’s on a dirt road, but it was totally worth the 1 hr drive from Cadiz. Beautiful setting!

Be careful horses ain't Andalusian horses (famous for being good at dressage and easy to control) - I was kinda disappointed by my horse ride at the beach - the horse that I had was indiscipline and wasn't good at dressage since he wasn't trained for it (polo horses). The tour was boring (we did a circle) we didn't even gallop at the beach or even did a little speed - they were three kids and one of the equestrians did take care of the younger child, the other one didn't pay intention to the other children who did struggle to manage their horses. I was expecting better to be honest!

What you booked is our sundown beachride, which is open to all people from 6 years ongoing, so yes, it is normal that there are less experienced riders or children.
For us safety for everybody is of absolut importance! If a group is heterogenous, it is not possible to gallop without putting in danger less experienced riders.
But if you would have told us in advance that you are and experienced rider and you want to gallop we obviously would have been very happy to put you in one of the training groups.
Concerning the dressage:
Our horses are Andalusian horses as well as real Argentine Polo Horses, they are easy to handle, living a happy life in herds (not in a box) and are perfectly safe for the beachrides. They are not trained for dressage (as it is a beachride and not a dressage lesson).
For the next time you come: please tell us in advance that you want to do either a dressage lesson or gallop on the beach and we are very happy to fulfil your wishes!

This was a fantastic experience for anyone wanting to enjoy a wonderful horseback ride on the beach. Marion and Fidel were incredibly professional and helpful. I’d never ridden a polo pony before but Fidel gave a simple, confidence inspiring quick tutorial. My teenage daughter was very nervous but the team were very patient and supportive of her. She too got the most out of the experience. It makes me want to come back and give polo lessons a go. The beach itself is beautiful, sandy, the stuff of holiday brochures. I would recommend this for families regardless of riding proficiency.

Everything about this experience was perfect! Our guide was really nice and personable. First you have a lesson until you feel comfortable on the horse. Once comfortable, the guide takes you on your path. When you get to the beach, the views are spectacular! We had one of the best sunsets I have ever seen! I can’t wait to come back and ride again! What a fabulous evening! Marion was the perfect host and clearly loves both what she does and the horses in her care. The ride along the beach was effortless and the sunset stunning.
