Lots of walking

Unfortunately, we were not able to finish the tour because my husband was not feeling well. It was a very hot day. But that is not why I’m getting three stars. The format of this Tour was not a typical for a food tour. We walked for almost an hour before we had our first food stop and it was a historical walking tour, which was not what we were expecting. Most tours stop very shortly and have a food experience. there was quite a bit of walking in between the first and second stop. Before we got to the second stop my husband decided he did not want to continue., so I did not comment on the rest of the Tour, but we did not sign up for the historical walking tour, food with our focus.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. First of all, as professionals, we are always genuinely sorry when our guests are not able to fully enjoy their time with us. We hope your husband felt better quickly, Cádiz on a very hot day can certainly be challenging!
That said, with a little touch of humor, we have to thank you as well. Even though you were unfortunately only able to experience the first two stops before leaving the tour, your review actually highlights something we are very proud of.
Unlike a more standard food tour focused only on moving from one tasting to the next, our experience intentionally combines Cádiz’s food with its history, streets, stories and culture. For us, understanding what is on the plate is even more enjoyable when you also understand the city and the people behind it. We want our guests to leave not only with a full stomach, but with a little piece of Cádiz in their hearts (and perhaps a few historical facts in their pockets!).
So, in a funny way, your three-star review may actually give future guests a very good reason to join us if they are looking for exactly that deeper experience.

Julie was great! She knew so much history and also curated the tour based on what we wanted to eat/see. It was really hot and busy so we decided to relax and take it slow and Julie really helped us enjoy our time
This food tour in Cadiz involved a lot of walking on a hot day. While we didn’t love all the stops, it was a good afternoon with our guide Judith. It was nice to learn some history along the way!
We ended up with the tour being private for just my mom and I. Judith was our tour guide. She was wonderful! Lots of food, lots of information! Great tour and well worth the price.
Amazing experience! There were 17 of us on the tour and our guide was patient and knowledgeable. She took us to off the Main Street places and everything was delicious!

Carla was a fantastic tour guide and we truly enjoyed our walking food tour in Cadiz! We got the perfect amount of history about the city and food culture and food to try! Each place we stopped the food was delicious and you could tell Carla thoughtfully chose them to best represent the city and meet our tastes! and the tour size was perfect, small and intimate! I would highly recommend if you are ever in the area!
Also, we were on a cruise ship and the tour starts just a few minutes walk from the port, which is great!
We were looking forward to this tour. We were rushed around Cadiz looking at architecture and local sites then made stops at local restaurants. The focus was not on the food and our guide was moving so quickly that some had a hard time catching up.

Our tour guide Estrella was amazing - so knowledgeable without being boring, food and drink fab! Would definitely go again and would recommend. The time went so quickly. We got to explore the city's beautiful streets, sights and stopped off at the most authentic Spanish bars, shops and eateries.
