Itinerary
Disembark your cruise ship and head straight for one of 14 conveniently located City Sightseeing stops in Cadiz. Climb to the top deck of a bright red double-decker bus and pop in your headphones for entertaining audio commentary. Travel through the ambient Old Town and cruise past impressive landmarks like Puerto Real and the beautiful cathedral.
When attractions like the Museum of Cadiz and the Central Market capture your attention, hop off to explore further. With your 2-day ticket, you can hop off and hop on as many times as you like; when you’re ready to rejoin the route, simply wait at a bus stop and climb back on board.
The entire route takes approximately one hour and buses depart every 30 minutes from each stop.
This excursion is located within a 15-minute walk to the cruise port, so you determine the time you return to your ship in Cadiz. Please allow yourself ample time to enjoy the excursion and ensure your timely return to the port. This excursion is not covered by our worry-free policy.

Buses are frequent and clean. English language commentary is very good. Stop number 4 affords convenient access to the old town, cathedral, Roman theater (free), many shops, restaurants, etc.

Typical hop-on hop-off bus experience. This bus in Cadiz, Spain was clean and the drivers were friendly. The buses ran on time and had no problems finding the bus stops.

Horrible dont book... we purchase our tickets months before coming only to find out they are cheaper if you buy once off boat cause the cruise line pushes it and everyone's does it so the line was over 2 hours long and you still had to wait even if you prebooked ( not fair if you ask me ) and you can't get on other stops till you have gotten the card they won't give you unless you wait in that very very very long line.. need less to say option was to waste most of our time in a line and not see much cause by the time you get on no time to hope off at a stop and explore.or you won't see everything.. sooo we wasted our money and walked around..
Also days before started messaging this company about not able to access our tickets and noooooo reply good thing viator was able to help but should have know how much this company cared about there costumer service with their lack of response. But they sure responded back quickly with a nooo when I asked for a refund 🙄

The bus gets you around town but doesn’t give u any great chance to get photos. You have to get on and off at stops to get any good pics. Secondly if u come on a cruise everyone is trying to get on at beginning stop so took over an hour to even get on the bus. Kinda expensive for what you get but the narrative on the headphones is informative of the area history.

It was a waste of time to prebook this with Viator. The cost is exactly the same as turning up an booking at the bus stop. On the day our cruise arrived, we proceeded to Stop 2 (adjacent to the cruise terminal) to find that only 6 of the 14 stops were operational. There was a sailing event in the old town and the old town was off limits. Essentially the 6 stops consisted of 2 at the port, 3 hotel pick up type stops in the new town (nothing to see) and a ride adjacent to a beach. In 20 minutes. all done. For €27 Euro!.
Of course , if we had known we would not have booked. On the day you could have the shorthened trip for half price but we had pre booked so we were stuck. We ended up walking through all the old town. A tiring day. So my advice. DO NOT book here in advance. There is simply no advantage apart for saving maybe 3 minutes in a queue.

Contacted the provider several times about the pickup spot and didn’t hear anything back. Went to the area and had several buses pass by. We missed the tour. They need better directions and signs.

We did this coming off the cruise ship. We were made to walk to the bus stop where 100s of people were in line on the side of the road. I think it was about 1.5 hours before we were off and running. The tour was fine. If you want to visit historic sights it would probably be worth the money. If your going to the cathedral, shopping, and eating...... all that is a short walk from the cruise port.

The guide, Hazim, and Abdul the driver were very courteous and friendly. We drove around the relevant points of interest and the commentary was good. I declined the camel ride as I have already had that experience and didnt wish to repeat it. The visit to the Kasbah and Medina were amazing. I had expressed what I wanted to purchase and was taken there. Though the path through the Medina was very steep and difficult terrain for me as I use a walking stick, Hazim was very helpful in that he held my arm and assisted me through many parts to allow me to continue. I thoroughly enjoyed the day and the experience. Thank you Hazim and Abdul.

We have used Hopon Hopoff buses all over the world but this is the 2nd time we have had an issue with Viator vouchers; finally got it resolved but it's a pain!
My only other issue is they made us change buses, losing our seats, in an effort to keep their buses as full as possible.
Otherwise good service, on time and decent commentary.

Hop on hop off are the best way to see the sites. So easy to just jump off, walk around, then jump back on. We did them throughout Europe and always enjoyed our time and never had to feel rushed as you explored at your leisure.

Unfortunately the cruise ship would not print our tickets for us out and could not get Internet on phone when showing bus company saying had paid and confirmed .In the end had to purchase another lot. Not a good start.

We took the hop-on, hop-off bus around town, then walked downtown to join all the revellers celebrating Carnival. This was probably the best day of the year to visit Cadiz.

Raining the entire time we were on bus. On top deck with roof but open sides. Every time the bus turned the water from the roof poured onto you. My pants and jacket was soaked. We finally had open seats inside the bus but rained so hard you couldn’t see much out the windows
