Fun evening; maybe a little slow at first

Our guide, Arts, was great; as was the venue. The venue was very authentic and welcoming. The beginning lessons were too slow for us. We go dancing regularly but don't know the tango steps so we went with the beginners. We found that the progress was very slow and became boring. Once the lesson was over, the music started, the general public started coming in and onto the floor and it livened up nicely. Occasionally, dance music of different genres was mixed in throughout the night which was a pleasant surprise. The short show at around 11:30 was excellent and fun to watch. Arts was willing to stay as late as we wanted, well beyond the hours advertised, but our group of 6 had early starts the next morning so we called it quits around midnight.

The guide Gabriella was so attentive and sensitive to limited mobility. She made sure arrived and returned safely . Carla was an outstanding instructor!!! This lesson and free time dance with classmates supervised occurs in casual setting . Dress is comfortable like t shirts shorts and gym shoes . You will not be joined after by incoming people or see seasoned dancers . This is a dance studio rather than a nightclub Perfect for those wanting to learn or perfect Tango

This tango milonga outing was the highlight of my trip. Melina was super sweet and knowledgeable; it felt like being out with a friend. She took me to the authentic milonga night where locals go; helped me with translation and made sure I following the teachings. I highly highly recommend this tour!

This is no joke you are with locals young and old the night we were there mostly old. Tango is like a lifestyle in BA people love it and dance it. Our Guide Christen was great he showed how to do it and explained the history of tango on the way over. Great experience and highly recommend!

Wonderful Tango Excursion

Our hostess, Melina, was very amicable, attentive, and was a joy to hang out with. She notify us when she was arriving to greet us and was on time. Afterwards, we took a ride to the milonga where we were introduced to the local tango. My partner and I took basic lessons then practice on the dance floor together. We took breaks to watch the locals dance tango. Melina also spoke of the history of tango and how it has evolved to what the tango is today. She is a wonderful hostess and would recommend her.
