The tour started in Cafe de los Angelitos. This was the best part of the tour. There was a lot of down time and the tour was just a three room museum. The dance lesson took place in a building that was best described as a fire trap. The dance floor was uneven and had holes. Even the teacher caught her heel in one of the holes. The lesson was an hour late and we got out after dark in what felt like an unsafe neighborhood.

Dear Janet, We are very sorry to read that the tour did not meet your expectations. The Milonga Tour is a different option that intends to transmit the tango lived by the porteños. It is not exactly the same as going to a tango house designed for tourists, where a show is offered to many people. In your case, you attended La Nacional, one of the most classic milongas in Buenos Aires and where Argentines usually go to dance tango.
