We chose the show only option and we could not fault the show itself, the dancers and musicians were so talented. Some aspects that werent great were that we booked the show for 9:30 but it actually started at 10. We also had the waiter interrupt us before the show ended insisting we needed to pay during the dances, requiring us to leave the table and miss the end. Overall, still worth seeing though

The show was pretty good, it does get repetitive after 30 minutes but it’s worth going to see. It lasts an hour; but it doesn’t start until 10pm.
The company that organise this aren’t the best, they messaged me a link to choose my pick up point twice, but the link didn’t work for me. I communicated this with them and they took several days to reply stating that pick up is not included with the “show only” option… so why message asking for my pick up location!!

Love the whole experience the show was only an hour we were sitted by 8pm and dinner was drawn out, show didn’t start till 10pm

Great show! We went with our two teenaged girls and all loved it. My youngest plays the violin and was enthralled by the glamorous and talented concertmaster in the live orchestra. The dancers were spectacular and the setting was gorgeous. Drinks were good and not super expensive. A great last minute add to our time in BA!

We knew that Buenos Aires lives and breathes tango but tango show was a beautiful proof to all of that! Every performer, every song, every dancer and every music note from the band was beautiful, intriguing and unique. We couldn’t remove our eyes out of the stage and loved it so much. We left show with excitement, love and inspiration inside of us! Totally recommend!

Touristy.
US $ 6 for a bottle of water filled up at the tap?. Nice glass bottle. When we try to take it with us they took it away : " We need it to be refilled".

The venue, food, show and experience were well worth it. However if my concierge had not called, I would have been unaware that the pick up/drop off portion was not being honored. Having a driver was important to my party at 2330 at night.!!

What an amazing way to absorb the Argentinian Culture. We only choose the option of the show and it's so worth it. You have singers and different couples dancing with a live band. So good when I'm back I'll do it again!!

One of the highlights of my trip. I went because I was told it was the thing to do, and I could not have been more impressed at the end. The dancers & singers were incredible! I was blown away by their talent & skill. If you’re going to go to a Tango show, go to Palacio Tango. Muchos gracias!

Very bad organization from Viator and the show itself. They pump you with cheap alcohol before the start to create a "positive mood". Absolutely rude staff. They demand tips. The show lasts about 45 minutes. There are 2 interesting performances.

This experience was absolutely awful.
Transportation - I was told I would be picked up at 7, didn’t get picked up til 8 with very little communication. They were adamant to be ready by 7 or risk being left behind. I sat in the lobby waiting and waiting and waiting.
Food - Outside of the starter (empanadas), everything else tasted bad. The “lasagna” was made using crêpes instead of pasta and the dessert was bland. My ice cream was already melting when it got to my table. Wine was of terrible quality.
Service - left something to be desired
Show - The show was decent but didn’t start until 10pm. I sat at my table for an hour and a half eating my terrible food. Unsure why we needed to arrive so early.
Overall, this was not worth the money and I learned you can find other tango shows at local bars for a fraction of the price. I did this as a solo traveler and wouldn’t recommend for solo or group traveling. As a solo traveler, they sat me in the corner, alone. Unsure why they couldn’t sit all the solo travelers together. Again, don’t waste your money or your time! This was 4 hours of my vacation I didn’t get back!

The 30 minutes of tango we watched in this five hour experience was great but the total event is far too long and boring. It’s over priced at $139 pp. The food is mediocre. The company said they couldn’t pick us up, which is included, bc of a road closure but out Uber driver got us there fine. I think you can find a better tango experience in BA that isn’t such a tourist trap.

We were forced to wait without explanation for a group who arrived late.

I read other reviews about this and all I can say is the food, the show and the whole experience was just fantastic! So atmospheric sitting in an old fashioned music theatre, eating great food and sipping Malbeck while watching a great show. Would definitely recommend this as something to finish off your trip in BA with.

The tour agent pick us up from hotel at 7:15PM and we actually reached the Piazzolla Tango around 8PM. The dinner is not attractive. The Tango show started at 10:00 PM and ended at 11:30PM. We waited 2 hours for the show. We would recommend just join the Tango show and forget about the dinner. You can have much better dinner in BA downtown.

I highly recommend attending the show. We skipped the dinner & arrived 9:15 pm. Enjoyed wine before the show. It started at 10 pm sharp. The show started off mellow & continued to get better. Well thought out. Musicians & singers were passionate & talented. Each set was unique. We were lucky to see the 2019 Tango World Champions. Amazing! The professional dancers were phenomenal.
My only recommendation is to not allow children under the age of 8. It's distracting & this is not an environment for them. We want to enjoy the show in peace. Thank you to the parents that exited quickly.
