Very poor service
If you look at other reviews for this show , other users have had a poor service
We arrived for the show at 9pm to be told that the show wasn’t starting until 10pm
We had rushed to arrive on time
The show was pleasant but there was no air conditioning so it was unbearably hot in the theatre

Dancing, singing, music, atmosphere, this show had it all! Four stars! I would recommend to anyone. Must see to learn more about the Argentinian culture.

The Piazzolla Tango show itself was fantastic – the dancers, the live orchestra, and the atmosphere were absolutely worth seeing. However, our experience was completely overshadowed by Viator’s false advertising and lack of response.
We purchased the “Dinner + Show” package through Viator, which clearly included a full three-course meal and Merlot wine. But when we arrived, the staff at Piazzolla Tango showed us that Viator only sent them tickets for two meals and no wine. I even showed them my Viator confirmation email that listed everything we had paid for, but they said there was nothing they could do because Viator hadn’t sent them the correct ticket.
We ended up having to pay over $100 extra at the venue just to get what we had already paid for through Viator. I tried contacting Viator afterward, and as of now, they still haven’t replied or offered any help.
It’s incredibly disappointing; the show deserves 5 stars, but Viator completely ruined the experience with misleading listings and terrible customer service. I would 100% recommend seeing Piazzolla Tango, but DO NOT book it through Viator.

Regarding your comment about the dinner, we’ve checked our records and can confirm that the option you booked through Viator was the VIP seating – Show only option, which does not include dinner or wine. Viator lists several different product options (with dinner, without dinner, VIP, etc.), and the inclusions for each are clearly detailed in the description as well as on the voucher you received.
Unfortunately, it’s quite common for travelers to overlook these distinctions when selecting their preferred option on Viator’s page, which can lead to this type of misunderstanding. We recommend carefully reviewing the inclusions before finalizing any booking to avoid future confusion.
We’re sorry for any inconvenience this caused, but in this case the issue was not due to Piazzolla Tango or our local operations.

I wish I only opted for the tango option without dinner. We were picked up from hotel around 7:15pm, with dinner starting at 8pm and tango show only starting at 10pm! If I knew this before, I would have much rather spent some time walking around the city and grabbing a quick dinner. 2 hours is too long for me and the food was only average (when the rest of the restaurants in the city that we tried are outstanding!) However, the tango show is totally worth it! It was fantastic, lasted a little over an hour, with most focus on dancing, but a few music and singing numbers as well. If you don't like long dinners, opt for a show only.

Pros: The show was great, lots of talented dancers and singers. The venue was beautiful. The meal was excellent - really delicious steak. The drinks were unlimited.
Cons: There was a lot of waiting around - we were out for 5 hours. Of that, 1 hour was show, 1 hour was eating and half an hour was a group tango lesson. The other 2.5 hours was waiting to be picked up, dropped off, and waiting for the show. It would have been nicer if things moved a little quicker with less waiting around/doing nothing. The venue was quite warm as well.

Enjoyable evening! Unlimited drinks and good steak, followed by an excellent tango show. Only comment is that it would have been helpful having more information on timings, and when the tango show would start and how long it would go on for on the evening, as we were sat around waiting for it to start after our meal.

The show was ok, but dinner was not. The ingredients should have been fresh. Plus the theatre was extremely cold. I asked for a blanket, but the waiter said there was none.
The waitress serving my table was very pleasant and professional.

Amazing dancers, singers and musicians. The whole show was amazing and it really felt authentic. The dancers were truly incredible and the singers and musicians added so much to the experience.

Look the show was great, but the advertising misrepresented what was on offer.
Firstly, the show starts at 10 pm. Pick up was between 7 and 7:45 pm, which meant a minimum wait of 45 minutes, in the lobby, unacceptable. This is not made clear from the beginning, only after tickets are booked.
Secondly, dinner was poor at best, and there really is little do from 8 pm to 10 pm.
Thirdly, you may get an attitude with tthe representative with whom you communicate. As I did.
The show itself, of 60 minutes duration, was very good!

The transfer schedule is published in the tour description and clearly written on the voucher that customers get after booking: it is a flexible pick up time (between 7:00 p.m. and 7:45 p.m.). Passengers must wait in the lobby from 7:00 p.m. This is so because the driver collects passengers from different hotels.
This difficult client, once we explained to him that the schedule was flexible and he had to wait for the transfer from 7:00 p.m., demanded that we pick him up at 7:45 p.m., under threat of canceling and requesting a refund from his credit card and write bad reviews on social networks. His demand was unacceptable and his behavior was hostile.

The show was wonderful, much better that we were expecting! The theater was gorgeous and the live orchestra just made it even better! Lots of talent on the stage durning the whole show. A nice way to top off our visit to Buenos Aires before we boarded our cruise ship the next day. The food was good, but could have been better, though the service was fantastic!

The artists and the performers were great. The food service was bad and slow. We had ordered for Fish, 10-15 mins after our order they came and said we are out of fish. I fail to understand how they ran out of fish… either they gave our fish order to someone else or they did not plan well for the number of guests.

The tango was amazing!! The dancers were so professional! They appeared to be Well trained in tango, ballet and modern dance. The orchestra and soloists were excellent! And the dinner and wine were delicious ! The theater and show incorporates the old with the new!! Don’t miss this tango show!! And the private driver from the hotel was the best!!

Everything was perfect from beginning to end. The driver picked me up from the hotel on time and then dropped me off at the hotel’s entrance. The Piazolla Theater is beautiful (for people with limited mobility, know that you will have to go down and then up stairs ((not sure if they had an elevator or not))). The orquesta, singers and dancers did an 110% show. Food was outstanding and table service was magnificent as well.

The whole experience was magical from the tango dance class, the quality professional tango show, the personal dining experience at your own table with service and colourful cabaret venue. Being picked up and returned to our hotel just added the icing on the cake. Simply wonderful!

Terrific tango show. Wonderful dancers, musicians, and singers. Very impressive facilities. Added to this, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Couldn't have asked for a better night out.

A few years ago we had the opportunity to enjoy this show and so we decided to see it again. We find it sad that the quality of the dancers and the food has decreased. Hopefully they will correct and become the best tango show in Buenos Aires again
