I don’t even know where to begin! I guess I’ll start with Oriana our guide. She made the whole trip! Very engaging and entertaining. She was very knowledgeable and just so much fun. The gaucho ranch did not disappoint. The horses were well kept. The grounds were so peaceful and serene. The musicians and dancers very interactive. The food, oh my, so much food. You will not leave hungry. Wine and water flowed freely, or anything else you might want. It was the best all around experience! Family friendly in every way. Highly recommend!

A really well organised and enjoyable day out. From the hotel pickup, guide, stop in Areco and the lovely Estancia. Would really recommend.
Thank you

Great day out with horse riding suitable for novices, multiple servings of food and a music and gaucho show

The tour was well organised and the communication beforehand was great.
We enjoyed the tour but I thought we would seen more from the Gauchos with the horses and skills. That may have been my fault not understanding exactly what was included.
The horse ride was short and sweet not sure the horses enjoyed it as they do this route 2/3 times a day. They are looked after but are they happy ?
Food was nice and plenty of it.
Alexandra was helpful and knowledgeable.
In all it’s a good tour but don’t expect seeing the gaucho way of life.

Such a fun and amazing day!!! Our guide Marcelo was super nice, informative and fun to be with. We loved seeing the town of San Antonio and Marcelo gave us lots of information about the area. The Gaucho ranch was just as much fun as we had been told. We had amazing BBQ, lots of wine, horseback riding, dancing and music. Such a fun way to spend the day!!!! Can’t recommend this activity enough!!!!

This is a unique day trip that is rare in my opinion; I have never seen it offered at any other time - rodeos yes but not the way the Argentinians do it. The feast and the rides were exceptional, and our guide Natalie entertained us to compensate for the travel time. The hosts were genuine and gracious too ... Thank You !

I must say everything about this trip was awesome. Our guide Marina was great and very knowledgeable. The weather was beautiful, the food, service, and entertainment were impeccable!! Loved the animals on the ranch and the horse ride was a wonderful experience. Best day trip we’ve had in South America. I highly recommend this trip.

Best fun ever - our guide Sofia and the driver were stupendous - we made great new friends on account of this trip - that doesn’t happen often - this team made it happen

Excellent day at the estancia. Great time horse riding coupled with lovely food and wine.
The dancing was a delight to watch as well.
All pulled together by our guide for the day Micaela who was very informative and helpful.
I would thoroughly recommend this trip.

Picked up at 8.30, two stops before the farm. Beautiful place, chickens, goats, peacocks, roaming around, large tables set for lunch, but first a tasty snack and wine and beer.
Next a ride on their beautiful horses, before lunch, with a variety of meats cooked on the bbq, along with salad and chips, and later ice-cream.
After lunch, some dancing, then we all danced for a game to see who would be left with the broom. Finally the horse whisperer Back to the hotel for 6.30.
Are guide Ariana was brilliant throughout, as was our driver.

Wow - just an amazing experience from start to finish. Veronica is an exceptional Tour Guide and so friendly and welcoming. The whole day was incredible.
If you get a chance book this tour - you won’t regret it. Food was awesome, the horses were great and the drink was flowing!

Pablo is a great guide! He made the day thoroughly enjoyable. Great hospitality at the ranch too. Definitely recommend.
Colette_Y, Mar 2026
From the time we were picked up till we were dropped off the guide kept us engaged in the history and fun facts about the area. At the ranch she was able to encourage all of us to participate in an activity that was fun and hopefully can take back share with our families.

This day was one of the highlights of our trip to Buenos Aires! The horseback riding, music and dancing were amazing, but the food and drinks were outstanding. This is a must do event if you are visiting the area!

This was a great tour to learn about Argentine culture.
Because of a strike near our hotel, it took quite a long time to pick up guests from other hotels, and we felt a bit sorry about that.
The explanation about Argentina on the bus was very interesting. It made us like Argentina even more.
During the meal, it was fun to talk with people from different countries. We were also able to try horseback riding and learn some traditional dances, which made it a great way to experience Argentine culture.
(The portion of BBQ was a little small.)

We were picked up from our hotel in Buenos Aires and driven to the venue. At the half way point, we stopped for coffee in a village where our driver and guide shared historical and cultural aspects of life in rural Argentina.
When we arrived at the farm, we were taken on a tour of a very nice facility. We enjoyed empanadas before a carriage ride. Had we been interested in riding horses, we could have done so.
After a. lunch of salads and several delicious barbecued meats, a group of musicians played folk music accompanying dancers.
The day was lovely and represented rural life in Argentina.

It was fun, very friendly people, some horseback riding, parrillada and wine very good, the cab very comfortable, Veronica was fun and knowledgeable! Highly recommended!

Our guide, Marcelo, was the best. He was super knowledgeable and friendly, and he really made the tour special. The ranch we visited was lovely, and the music, horse show, gauchos, and food were amazing. Highly recommend for a day outside of Buenos Aires to see how gauchos live and work. It was the highlight of our trip!
Cathie, Feb 2026
What a great day. The estancia is really beautiful and the horse riding was well organised.
Our guide, Emilia, was excellent and we had a brilliant time.
Adam_D, Feb 2026
Tour guide and staff very friendly, very nice farm property, but only a 300 meter horse ride, BBQ was nice and tasty, but only got served a bite size. The main two reason I booked this tour.
Juanita_C, Feb 2026
The gaucho experience went well. We had a rest stop in the morning on the way to farm. It took about 2 hrs with stop to get there. We stopped at the town of San Antonio de Areca to walk around, get a sample at chocolate bakery. At the farm, some of us rode very well trained horses, ate delicious Argentinian barbeque, then viewed traditional dances with horse whispering. Great experience!

It was great to get out of the city and see a different side of Argentina. Our tour guide Veronica was amazing. She was very friendly, and gave valuable explanations all along the way. She made sure we were well taken care of. She kept everyone motivated even when when the weather did not seem so great at first. She answered all our questions. The vegetarian food was delicious. I also appreciated that the company was willing to work with us to reschedule the tour when our flight into Buenos Aires was delayed by two days. Great customer service. The folks at the Estancia were very friendly. I wish the gaucho skill demonstration was a little longer. Overall it was a nice slow paced day in the countryside, with lots of time to just hang out. I would recommend it.
Rustom_S, Feb 2026
Brilliant experience. The ranch was amazing and our tour guide and our driver were really on point. Very knowledgeable and helpful. An experience to definitely have!
Marcella_D, Feb 2026
This was the highlight of our trip! Veronica was a superb guide, friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to help. Despite unexpected rain and colder weather, the estancia owner and staff made sure we had a wonderful experience, including a great meal, horseback riding, and not just watching some traditional dancing but also participating in it. Kudos to all involved!
Gary_W, Feb 2026
Lots of food and entertainment. Relaxing way to spend the day. Everyone was friendly and fun to talk to.
nan_b, Feb 2026
It really wasn’t much of a farm. Nothing to really see or do. Alejandra was a great guide ! But it was a bus ride out to an event place. The food was over cooked. Not very good at all. Felt it was misrepresented.
Anthony_G, Feb 2026
We loved the small group, genuine feel of getting out into the countryside, listening to the stories of the gaucho traditions from our friendly guide. The bus was clean comfortable and cool on a hot day and Charlie was a great driver. We were picked up on time, communication was excellent even though we only booked the day before! Vanessa's English was prefect and she answered all our silly questions and gave lots of helpful and interesting information about Argentina's customs and history. We loved our short horse ride which catered for the beginners and the experienced in our family. The beer and empanada's were amazing on arrival and lunch and wine on the verandah was relaxing and tasty. 10/10 for our one day layover in BA from Australia.
Peter_R, Feb 2026
The visit was GREAT. We enjoyed Vanessa's leadership, the food, the horse-back ride and the dancing and horse/Gaucho show. Nice transproter and good driving.
Harriet_C, Feb 2026
Truly wonderful, authentic experience. Food and wine was very delicious and transport was seamless. Worth it. Guide was lovely and very knowledgeable.
Rick_B, Feb 2026
Pickup at our hotel was right on time. After picking up the other guests we were a group of 12. Learned many things about Argentina, Buenos Aires and the Pampa on the drive to the Ombu ranch. Tour guide Veronica was excellent. After arrival at the ranch most of the group took a ride on the horses. There was also an option for a carriage ride for those who did not want to ride. On our return from the ride, we had a welcoming drink and empanadas. Then a visit to the BBQ and lunch. You might want to skip or have a very light breakfast before hand as there is so much delicious food. Salads, bread, sausages, beef and chicken. Desserts are flan or ice cream. Lots of good wine or cerveza too. After lunch we were entertained by traditional musicians and dancers. We also had the opportunity to dance ourselves. Very full and enjoyable day - highly recommend!
