Hot Evening. Worst Customer Support.

Unfortunately, we had a very unpleasant experience. Though the tango show itself was lovely, we had paid for the dinner and VIP. When we arrived, we were surprised to find there was no air conditioning. In fact, the temperature was unbearable. My wife was sweating so bad she used ice cubes to cool her forehead and chest. We complained several times to staff members. All they apologized and told us there in nothing they could do. It seems the air conditioning system was broken. However, the system being down was not our fault and it negatively affected our experience. The manager told us they would call Viator and ask for a refund. The truth is we didn’t need an entire refund. Just respect and acknowledgment about our situation. A discount or part credit would have sufficed. The biggest issue for us was how we were treated by Viator. The customer support was absolutely terrible. They treated us disrespectfully and ignored our pleas. In fact, at one point they told us our expirations were too high because we were American. Actually, we happen to be Canadian, which is besides the point. We’ve used Viator before and we’re happy. This time they failed us. Very sad. Customer support is so important. This support was the terrible and we have a bad taste in our mouths.

Not so cold so other people who do not like low temperatures can enjoy it, too. It was a very humid day and that may have made you feel it was hotter. No one at the venue is allowed to provide or request a refund, except us. You decided to stay, had dinner and attended the show and the service was accomplished. We apologize for any inconvinience. There was too much...

There was too much over-the-top singing, and the dancing and music, though skilled and accurately rendered, lacked any emotion. It felt like a tourist show that did not get at the heart of tango like we've seen elsewhere, even in the streets of San Telmo. The sound system was harsh and too loud, and the venue was uncomfortably warm. By contrast, we had thoroughly enjoyed the more intimate show at El Viejo Almacen.

No AC, inedible steak, ok performance - find another tango show!

There was no AC which made the hours spent pretty unbearable. I went for the dinner experience to get better seats but the steak was SO tough, I couldn’t really eat it. The empanadas and flan were good though. The show was ok, a bit over choreographed but fine overall. Would recommend finding another tango show that has AC at least!

Welcomed by front-of-house staff. Floor staff friendly and helpful. Waiter attentive and provided friendly service. Guido and Florencia provided a fun introduction class. Highly professional musicians - the leadership and playing were exemplary. The dancers and singers showed great collaboration and timing. All music was carefully chosen. The closing number was very emotive. Bravo!

Use with caution, Choose another show

The venue was difficult to find. The theater is two floors below a shopping arcade. There were no signs on Florida street. A street vendor pointed the way. The food was not great I suggest skipping this option. Pay for your drinks with pesos, the exchange rate is bad. Most importantly look for the fire exits. There are no emergency exits. There is only one way in and one way out. In an emergency you must climb back up the two floor you came in from. An emergency in the arcade above would leave you trapped.

Not your father’s Tango Show!

What an amazing show. We’ve seen Tango shows before, but nothing like this! From the opening number to the final, we were glued to the stage. The lighting, costumes, live orchestra were amazing. All that was surpassed by the 14 Tango dancers. What athleticism, timing, and professionalism. And oh yeah, the food was wonderful. Arrive early and join in the Tango lessons

I have been to several tango shows this by far my favorite. My kids all ages loved iit. The dinner I would pass on it and just go to the show. Way to much time for dinner and sitting around the food was ok I have to say we didn’t eat much of it.

Good show, wish there was an earlier option

Perfect amount of time. Great singing and dancing. Enjoyed that we could do just the show (which comes with 2 drinks) because our hotel was just a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Wish there was an option to do the earlier show without dinner to walk on busier streets after the show. Felt a little less safe walling after 11pm on the streets after everything was closed.

Great dancers, bad service

Spectacle bien rodé, tango acrobatique...pas forcément ce que l'on veut voir....à part le couple plus âgé qui danse vraiment comme on peut l'imaginer, et très bien. Mais repas très moyen, attente très longue avant le spectacle, il n'a lieu qu'à 22h15, et venir dîner à 20h fait que l'on s'ennuie un peu car repas rapide et peu goûteux. Pas sûr que je le conseillerai.
