The band was excellent as I've noticed in every tango show in Buenos Aires. The arrangements for music were interesting and nice stage decoration, costumes and choreographies. I was waiting for a woman singer as well. The staff was very helpful and a good idea to take the whole staff to the front in the end of the show - that made a great effect!

Fun show, conveniently located across the street from our hotel in BA so we could just walk instead of relying on transportation. We opted not to partake in the dinner, but ordered some drinks. I think it's ultimately easy to get great food in BA at a better price. Recommend showing ups a bit earlier as that seemed to ensure better seats for us compared to people who arrived later.

The location is good - just 2 mins walk to the Oblisco. It's just walking distance if live in the theatre district. The performance was good and staff are very friendly - they proactively speak English when they realize the customer are likely not Spanish speaker. In addition to the compelling dance performance, the band was also very good and made the performance into next level.

Great show, the venue was very nice. The cocktails are well made. The Empanadas were tasty. My family and I enjoyed it very much. Remembering my grandmother singing the same songs of Carlos Gardel. We loved it.

We booked the Tango Porteño show on the same day and everything went smoothly from start to finish. Communication was fast and clear, and the instructions about the process were very helpful. Entry and ticket check were easy, and we were pleasantly surprised by the seating. We were in the first row right after the dinner section, with a great view of the stage. The show itself was spectacular. It showcased not only tango, but broader elements of Argentine culture. The live band was fantastic, and the malambo performance highlighting Gaucho tradition was especially impressive. We really enjoyed the show and the overall atmosphere.

Show was short on dancing and only 1 hour presentation. Really disappointed in this show. Sad display. Saw this show in 2019 and was impressed with it and had high expectations for visiting again. Unfortunately this time around it had much limited dancing, overlong segments (3) with just the band playing, and singing solos.

Good tango and venue, staff are irritating. House red is awful

Dance show started weird with. Ignore skirts and not the Argentinian tango I expected. Then the show was amazing. Staff ignored us at 1st, we had to ask 3x for a drink. Bottle of red vinegar came foe 17,0000 ars. Staff then only came again to sell us photos, 1 for 33,000 or to ask for a tip..cheek of them. Place was great. Value was good but would go to a smaller venue if I did this again

Excellent option for a night on the town. We decided to have a dinner elsewhere and just come for the show to get a tango experience. Out of our group of 4 people, two were not a big theatre/performance lovers but really appreciated it.

This was a great way to see a tango show here in BA. Took my dad. Arrived at 9:00 p.m. and got great seats behind the people eating dinner. Definitely among a lot of tourists. But, the price and duration were perfect. Show started at 10:00 p.m. and ended around 11:20. Dancing and orchestra were both incredible!

Seats are not in front row if you dont book the dinner, but it was still good enought to watch the show, wich we did love. The menu had a very decent price.

Great dance performance with variety of dance and songs. Show only seats situated on second floor which is a top view of dancers. Doors open at 9pam to be able to get the front row seats and show starts 10pm. Dinner tables were so close to each other.

Great show, good value for your money! We sat in the back so we didn’t have the best view, but either way, we could see the show from our spots and enjoyed the typical dances. We didn’t order the dinner, but the prices for wine and appetizers were reasonable for this type of show and touristic place. Definitely recommended for anyone in Buenos Aires!

Good show - arrive early.

We enjoyed the show! Six couples were dancing, there was a live six-piece band, and there were a few extra performers who also brought the stage to life. Anyone who buys a show-only ticket sits in the balcony, and seating is first-come first-served so arrive early to get a good seat. Some railings and plexiglass barriers obscure the view of the stage. They started seating people at 9:15 PM.

Show Option was Really Good

We opted for the Show Only ticket, we arrived super early and they sat us down on the bottom with a table. It was in the back and we had a really good view of the stage. Also, sitting on the bottom, you can order food and drinks. We ordered a bottle of Malbec for $11 USD, so cheap. We were going to get the dinner option, but saved so much $$$$$, just getting the show and eating dinner outside. Our group of four, we saved $170, we had a much better dinner than what was served inside the theater. We had Pizza Guerrin, which was a 5 min walk from the Theater for $40 total. There are also many other options nearby. The show was quite good and the music was amazing. Overall, a very Argentinan experience for a reasonable price.

Terrible Seating Option

Was not notified that seats are first-come first-serve and in the balcony if you buy tickets to show only and skip the dinner. I showed up over a half hour early (even though Viator only recommended 10 min early) and still had terrible seats! The balcony is so high up and the angle of seats to stage makes it so you basically have to stand up to get a good view - otherwise you'll be watching through a plexiglass barrier the entire show.

Good intro to some tango music / dancing

Good tango show with a variety of acts for an hour and 15 minutes. Long enough to sample genre, and the variety kept the audience involved. Like most tourist shows, the most irritating part are the numerous observers holding up their cell phones to tape the numbers while blocking your view.
