Meeting point instructions lacking

It was a nice cruise on the Danube and the castle ruins were interesting but starting the tour was a problem. We were given meeting point instructions via email with a link that took you to Google Maps which we followed correctly and were quite early, but the pin point to meet was wrong and after waiting for about 15 mins we realised something was wrong so asked a nearby boat who gave us instructions and as we were running to catch the boat they locked the boarding gate and sailed away. Luckily we were able to contact Viator who complained that we went to the wrong spot but was willing to change our ticket to the afternoon tour and luckily we could change our plans for the day. Originally we walked past the meeting point but there were no flags, signs or anything to indicate which dock to wait at and the gate was locked and no people in sight so nothing to draw your attention to wait there and the pin point on the map supplied was about 200M past that point. As we had time we did walk up and down the dock area and being early Saturday morning there was very little people activity about. We would recommend putting the directions directly into Google Maps and not to use the link. Once on board we realised that there were other people who had similar problems with finding the meeting point.

The ship sailed on time , the whole journey was about 4 hours, wth 2 hours at the castle, which was plenty of time to climb to the very top. A little disappointed that the shops bar was poorly stocked. But overall a great value for money trip

Lovely cruise from Bratislava to Devin Castle... then a couple of hours to walk up to the castle, call into the hotel for coffee etc. Amazing views from the castle walls along the Danube and across the countryside.

Loved the gentle cruise along the famous river Danube, the craft was big and spacious, you also got plenty of time at the castle of which we got to the top!! And had time for a pint

Check in, is at 10, at the office. Then you need to walk to the assigned boat, which you do not have previous notification of. So, allow extra time for it.

Yes the Port in Bratislava especially in season is busy so we sometimes need to change boarding points. Therefore we say on ticket pl be ready to board 15 minuets ahead. Thank you for your patience and for your positive review.
