Great! I’m embarrassed to say I didn’t know nearly enough about this time in history. Jim was very Jim Jim was great!! informative and also generous in answering our questions. Sure, you can go to the murals and the peace wall yourself, but hearing the stories from someone who lived through it was very powerful. Highly recommended!

Fantastic tour and Edward our tour guide was brilliant. He gave an unbiased account of the troubles to the extent that it was hard to identify if he was a Catholic or Protestant!

You will stop at a small number of important murals that are very significant in the history of the conflict. Our guide Jim was friendly, welcoming and was able to give a real feel, from his own experiences, of what it was like growing up and living through the conflict, as well as how things have changed since the Good Friday Agreement. I'd definitely return and do this tour again. Highly recommended.

First of all our guide John was not only super knowledgeable, but he was an absolute gentleman too. He ensured everyone on the trip were catered for and was more than happy to answer questions. The trip with McComb's is highly recommended. You will not be disappointed.

We enjoyed touring the murals privately and hearing the history of the conflict that took place in Belfast. Sean provided us with a good understanding of the conflict and picked us up at the cruise terminal(extra fee but was worth it)

Didn't turn up at our pick up point, no way of contacting them other than email.
I was on the phone for over half an hour with Viator and had to fight to get my money back. Viator said they would put in a refund request and it would take 5-7 working days to get back to my account IF the tour company agreed to the refund. I insisted I was not leaving the phone call until I had received my full refund, my contract was with Viator NOT the tour company. It was only when I asked to speak with the supervisor that I managed to get a resolution.
Booked one through the local tourist office which was £20 cheaper!!!!! Great experience with them.

This was an incredible experience spent with someone who has lived through the troubles first hand. Moving and even emotional at times be prepared to perhaps challenge any pre-conceptions you may not even realise you have. Our guide completed the tour with a balance of both humour and respect and with an insight and honesty you can only have if you have actually lived it. We felt this was a must do in Belfast and are grateful to our guide for his handling of what must be at times a difficult subject. So much more than a simple tour of The Murals this is absolutely essential Belfast for anyone who wants to immerse themselves in the turbulent past and gain a better understanding of the Cities recent history and hope for the future.

The tour guide was gave a history of both sides of The Troubles. However, we could tell that he favored the one side over the other. We thought that he should have just told both sides and left his opinions out of it.
