We'd like to thank Tony for sharing his experience with us. The tour was really educational and delivered with feeling. Tony did not rush us and we were allowed to spend as long as we wanted looking at the murals and the monastery. Lovely man, would highly recommend!! The Welsh Girls
What an amazing tour of the history of the Troubles. Our guide Robert eloquently described the sadness and horror of the time, often with stories from his personal experiences growing up in Belfast in the 1970s and 80s. He was both knowledgeable and compassionate.

Be aware that tour can be quite emotional especially if you have a guide like Robert who lived through the controversy. Tour was excellent, cab was comfy & I highly recommend the tour.

Irish-Americans on our first visit to Belfast. We were a group of eight split into two cars. Our guides, Robert and Rob, were terrific in showing us the significant landmarks and describing the history of the Troubles, while sharing their own personal experiences growing up. It was emotionally heavy at times, but a must do for anyone who wants to get a first-hand account of the history, regardless of your prior understanding or views on the conflict. Robert and Rob were both educational and entertaining as guides - and they even gave us a good recommendation on where to get a nice lunch and a proper pint once our tour concluded. Highly recommend.

You do get outside of the cab a few times to enjoy the experience so wear a sweater and running shoes.

Robert, our guide, was the absolute BEST!!!
We feel like we have made a friend for life!! His knowledge is unsurpassed and he answered all questions we had. This is so much history in Belfast between the murals, the neighborhoods, etc.
I highly recommend this tour, and we plan to request Robert next time we come to Belfast. (Next year)
