Great day touring Belfast and environs

Our driver knew the best timing for tour visits and was able to give us a good overview of Belfast and the surrounding area, including an interesting history of the Peace Wall. He told us what time to book our tickets for the Titanic Experience to maximize the timing of the rest of the day. Excellent day touring Belfast and the surrounding area. We had varied experiences including a trip to a Waterfall Nature Preserve, Giant's Causeway, Whiskey tasting, the Belfast Castle, Peace Wall and the Titanic Experience. Thank you Michael

Did not pay for a political tour from an angry, one sided guide

Eddie could have been a very good guide if he left his political views at home. He was interesting, had a lot of knowledge and could be very funny, however, we are not interested in his political views. We do not need to hear what he thinks of climate change, COVID regulations or any other politically charged matter. Both of my 80 something parents who were along on the tour were hospitalized with COIVD and almost died, so his cavalier attitude was extremely insensitive. And while we acknowledge that we have a lot we don't know about the politics of Northern Ireland, we don't want to learn from someone obviously very angry who makes no bones about siding STRONGLY with one side over the other. He ranted and raved about the injustices of it for the last 90 mins of the tour which was very uncomfortable and not at all enjoyable. He needs to learn to read the room. We did not pay to listen to his political rantings, we wanted to see the countryside and a bit of Belfast. While the countryside was enjoyable we were very uncomfortable with the Belfast part of the tour and couldn't wait to get out of the vehicle and away from his anger.

Hi Karen, I am sorry to see your review is only 3 stars and disappointed that Eddie seemed to be one sided in his opinion of the troubles. It was a very violent time in Belfast and lots of families were affected losing loved ones so passion can be high and everyone that lived through it has their own perspective and experience. Eddie however has been covering cab tours for several years and this is the first time I have heard a complaint about his political tour. My apologies that your tour didn't end as you would have hoped but you did select the 5 in 1 option which deals with the political past. For future reference my 'Causeway and Glen's tour' would be a better choice for those looking for just a scenic excursion. Safe travels Mick.

Michael was the most amazing guide—the best I’ve been with in all the excursions I’ve experienced. He made sure to include anything we wanted to see and made sure to get us back to the ship in plenty of time. By the end of the excursion we felt like we had known Michael for years and our knowledge of Northern Ireland and its history was much greater. I can recommend Michael and this tour unequivocally. We had a WONDERFUL time and would book a tour with Michael any chance we got.

Belfast and Giants Causeway Tour

Couldn’t have asked for a better tour and guide. Tom McCann drove us around all day and hit some key spots (waterfalls, beautiful countryside, Giants Causeway, a perfect side trip to Bushmills to make my husband’s day, and the Balfast Titanic Museum. I think we’ve made a friend for life from across the pond. Can’t recommend this group more, and I don’t think you’d be disappointed at all. Definitely a recommended excursion outside of the big cruise coaches.

We went to Belfast with a cruise line but I wanted to get more experiences in than the cruise offered so I signed up for this tour. Our tour guide/driver did his very best to fit in all the experiences he could from the moment we got off the ship to when we had to be back on.

We have Mick as our tour guide. Mick took us to all the iconic spots for pictures. We completed our bucket list for Belfast. We wrote a peace message on the peace wall. We had the best Goujons fish and chicken and chips in Ireland. Mick is the best!!!

If you’re looking for private car service to the awesome things you wanna see, book Mick! We’ve used quite a few private car services to get to and from ports when we cruise. This has to be one of, if not the best we have used. Great knowledge of the area in both terms of commuting as well as history. Answered all our questions (I ask a lot). Was able to get out of long behind bathroom lines, less than half the cost for our party of 8 verses what the cruise ship costs, the car was super clean, easy to hear him, he provided sandwiches/snacks/drinks, etc. He communicated with my wife ahead of time about food allergies, communicated time expectations for meeting before and during, and even pulled over quite often for us to take pictures. One of the highlights of our cruise!

Amazing tour

This tour was amazing. All of thr stops along the way were well worth it. The Giant's Causeway was beautiful, all the views were spectacular. The Antrim Coast waterfalls were lovely. We learned about Belfast history while driving through town and capped it all off at the Titanic museum. Mick was wonderful and tailors the tour to your interests, this is a must-book.

This was a true insider's tour of Belfast from the inner city with its seventeen segregated sections to the most stunning and picturesque scenery of the country. Our tour guide Michael led us on a journey through his homeland which rivaled every You Tube video and travel log show that I watched to prepare myself for this journey. It was a breathtaking tour with Mike making as many stops as we wanted to alerting us to things off the beaten trail, including a ten minute stop at the home of the Irish Open ( where I drooled like an idiot after feasting my eyes on the course, the clubhouse, and proshop :while dropping a small fortune therein). Dare I say Mike made my dreams come true by taking me and my wife to nip in for a pint at Belfast's oldest bar. I'll be back in Belfast and I'll book with Mike for the greatest tour in Ireland. PS: His was the absolute best vehicle to ride in for the tour!
