We spent a wonderful evening in Basel at the hosts home. They served us a beautiful meal, much of it right from their garden. The wine was locally made by a friend of theirs and amazing! Fabio and Anita are great. We had so much fun getting to know them and talking about their backgrounds. It happened to be their wedding anniversary and they joined us for dessert which was just perfect. We spent our evening in their garden because the weather was perfect. Don’t hesitate to book this! Additionally, their home was easy to get to even for us small town people who live where there is no public transportation. We were able to easily navigate the tram system and it drops you off a block from their home.

It was a special evening. The hosts opened their home to us and gave us an opportunity to visit with them. We got to know them and what a nice traditional meal in a home setting was like. Just like visiting with friends you haven’t met yet.
