The guide (Crystal) was knowledgeble and helpful and gave lots of details to the actual construction and layout of the building. The Sagrada was breath taking and so very beautiful, and it is a must see, even if you are not religious.

booked in advance and have got confirmation AND vouchers for today, but then cancelled by Viator and no one feels responsible for a refund!!!! the local tour guide didn't even show up!!!!!!!!! :((( and the guy from the meeting point (Cerveseria Bavaria) told us, that it wasn't the first time that this happens with this tour operator....

We truly understand how frustrating this situation must have been, and we are very sorry for the experience you had.
Even when a reservation is made in advance and confirmed with vouchers, tickets for Sagrada Familia are not always fully guaranteed. The monument operates with a strictly limited capacity, and availability can be exhausted very quickly, especially during high-demand periods.
That said, this should never result in a lack of communication or assistance on the day of the tour. We sincerely regret that no guide was present and that you were left without proper support at the meeting point.
Regarding the cancellation made through Viator, refunds are typically managed directly by the platform. We strongly recommend contacting them with your booking reference, as they are responsible for processing the reimbursement.
We are truly sorry that this experience did not meet your expectations and understand your disappointment.

The person in charge of the tour was not organized she walk with no control where we was and was a lot people she didn’t had anything to recognize her - we get lost and a lot people from our group too was walking trying to find her -

I originally booked with a different group months before my travels to Barcelona which turned out to be a scam (Feel the City). I scrambled to find tickets last minute because the main reason of my travels to Barcelona was to see the Sagrada Família. I am so glad my original ticket didn’t work because this tour was amazing and highlight of my family trip to Barcelona! Olga was so kind. She patiently helped us find her at the meeting point when we got lost as first time Barcelona visitors. She is also so knowledgeable about Gaudí and the Basílica. Will definitely be back and try to book again with her when the Basílica is complete mañana 😉 I cannot give enough praises to Olga and Viator for making this dream come true. ❤️🇪🇸🙏

Sagrada Familia is amazing experience unlike no other. Breathtaking! Ruth, our tour guide was very kind, informative and illustrated the story beautifully. She was gracious to answer our many questions and we would have loved to have spent more time with her. What a wonderful way to spend part of our day in Barcelona.

Fantastic private tour of the church. The guide walked us through in a very logical and clear manner, which helped our understanding of the design and building of the church. Of course, there is lots of history in/around the timeframes. He was very enthusiastic and made the site and Gaudi come alive! The meeting area near the entrance and the exit from the gift shop is very busy. But, he managed to find us, and if needed, we could have called each other via WhatsApp.

He was an expert on Segrada Familiar, providing detailed information about the architects and the artistic beauty of the basilica. I've never experienced such a disgrace in my life. We came to Barcelona and paid for the Sagrada Familia tour a week in advance for six people. However, we couldn't meet the guide on the day of the meeting. Despite waiting an hour at the meeting place, we unfortunately had to turn back. The phone number provided on the confirmation document never answered. Absolutely avoidable. Simply disgraceful.

We had a pretty awful experience overall, it did happen but nothing about it was pleasant.
First off there was 0 communication until about 40 minutes before the meetup time, and everyone in the group was complaining about the lack of communication. I reached out about 4 hours before the tour to both the tour company and Viator, no one could get ahold of the tour company so Viator was ready to refund the tour if no one showed up.
As mentioned I finally got a reply about 40 minutes before the meetup giving me a name and phone number of the tour guide, so at least it wasn't a scam.
However the problems didn't end there, it was actually two groups with two tour guides so they had to split us up, and it was a confusing mess. The first group went without a hitch, but my group was the second group and it turned out the tour company didn't buy enough tickets, we were 1 short. After 20 minutes of the tour intro, we basically had to wait outside for another 30 minutes while our guide tried to find an extra ticket, and ultimately one of our guests decided to not go in so that her 3 friends could go in.
So it basically took us an hour to actually get inside the cathedral at 5pm, and they closed at 6:15pm which didn't leave us much free time.
At the very least the tour guide was friendly and full of information and performed his job, but this was just a sloppy affair all around and I was left with a very negative impression. We did ultimately get inside the cathedral so it's not a fake tour company, but their professionalism is very lacking.

Our tour guide Daria was amazing! So knowledgeable and friendly. We spent a wonderful evening with her and came away with an incredible appreciation for the scope of this spectacular structure as well as the genius and kindness of Gaudi. A great experience.

Julius as perfect for us. We had been on a prior tour of this basilica two years ago, but there were too many people in the group to really be beneficial. Our private tour of the Sagrada Familia with Christina was nothing short of amazing! She met our family of four with a warm smile and immediately set the tone for a relaxed, fascinating experience. Having skip-the-line entry was a game changer — we walked right past the long queues and straight inside.
Christina’s knowledge of Gaudí’s vision, the original design sketches, and the history of the basilica was incredible. She pointed out details we would have completely missed on our own, from hidden symbols in the architecture to the story behind the breathtaking stained glass. Because it was a private tour, we could go at our own pace, ask all the questions we wanted, and really soak it all in.
We went at sunset, and it was pure magic — fewer crowds and the light streaming through the stained glass windows was absolutely unforgettable. Christina’s passion for the Sagrada Familia made the whole experience feel personal and special, and we left with a much deeper appreciation for one of Barcelona’s most iconic landmarks.
If you’re visiting, book this tour — and if you can, time it for sunset. You’ll thank me later!

Jordi provided my family of 5 traveling with 3 teenagers an exceptional experience of Sagrada Familia! His knowledge and passion of the cathedral is second to none, and it gave us a viewpoint you would not experience seeing the cathedral on your own. I highly recommend this tour. We were able to get a tour of Sagrada Familia with Anna at the last minute. I booked the tour the day before! Which was a great because it's really hard to get a Sagrada Familia tickets that quick. Earliest that I could was more than a week away through the Sagrada website! So the fact that Viator was able to get us in the next day was a blessing!
I paid a bit more but having Anna give us a personal tour with all her knowledge was worth every bit! Our group was literally just me and my two kids, so we didn't even have to deal with a big tour group.
I really appreciated Viator and our personal tour guide Anna.
I also think Viator's price was really reasonable. I've seen other tours charge a lot more.

Our guide Alejandra was very knowledgeable and it was an amazing experience in this remarkable church. She went out of her way to assist us after the trip to even get a taxi.
