My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Alberto. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and made our stay in Barcelona a good experience. It is hard to know what to eat in Spain so I highly recommend this tour. It is nice being in a small group as it is more personable. Alberto had many recommendations. The tasting at the end was delicious and a nice way to end the tour. Highly recommend this tour if you are ever in Barcelona.

A great experience! Cal is friendly, knowledgeable, and very enthusiastic about sharing his love of Barcelona’s history, including his knowledge of the markets. Cal’s easygoing nature makes you feel at home, and our market tour included a sampling of both olives and candy. This is a great tour for anyone interested in exploring the history of Barcelona!

Thankfully we had a very small tour…. just my son and I. The small size made it easy to hear Eoghan and to follow him through the crowded market. He was very knowledgeable about Barcelona and Spanish history in general. Very fun way to spend a few hours!

We enjoyed the great variety and history of the market. Eoghan was an excellent tour guide and very informative. The group moved easily through the market and we sampled some of the wares, bought a few as well. All in all a super morning.

I really appreciate it our guide Cal. I believe his name was Salem. He really knew a lot about the market. Gave us some history. We were able to taste a few things purchased a few souvenirs. It was a great experience and a lot easier to move around with a guide.

Valentina was an absolutely charming guide, filled with information and knowledge, not only about Spanish cuisine but the history of Barcelona with accompanying excellent visual aides. Our guide Andres was friendly and knowledgeable. The tour covered a variety of markets and gave us a nice overview of the Gothic quarter as well. The tour ended right by a fantastic park too.

This tour was fascinating. Lots of great information about food products and food traditions. We had a chance to purchase products if we wanted. We spent time in Las Ramblas, the Gothic Quarter, and Born, learning about some important structures and history of the locations. Carlos Andres, our tour guide, made it fun and interesting. I suspect we were a bit of a challenge as a group and he was extremely patient and helpful. Definitely recommend.

Paul was great! Lots of history plus little stories and tidbits thrown in. Wonderful walking tour. I got turned around so it was particularly helpful that he went the extra mile so to speak and showed us where the metro station was.
