A great way to experience Arequipa and its landscape. The driver and guide were superb and the views were miraculous. This activity should only be done by those who are physically able to handle 4,200 meters. Someone on tour was throwing up the entire trip but that is not the fault of the tour guide or driver.

The starts are for the nice view of the Misti and the good driver who helped me to cope the altitude sickness.
The road is very, very bumpy and dusty. The group is not impressed by the Salinas. It could be the wrong season.

This wasn’t so much of a guided tour as a driver and chaperone around a small part of Salinas. We were lucky enough for a beautiful view of the Misti Volcano on the way up, but that was honestly the highlight. Advertised as 8 hours but turned out to be 6, not much information or explanation of anything. And while we saw some wildlife, a lot of the birds were in the far distance, so barely visible. The breakfast was fine, but we only sat down for it at 9am after three hours of driving. About half the ride is dirt track, so be prepared for a bumpy journey at altitude, which might be too much for some.

The road is rough, and I was the only English speaker, but our bilingual guide Patricia was stellar, and made sure I understood everything. Wild vicuñas, rabbits w/tails, llamas, flamingos, Andean geese. Gorgeous scenery. Not an easy 8 hours. But very worthwhile.

We went on the tour with the tour guide in a Toyota Land Cruiser. It travelled faster than the mini-bus, as the tour guide said. But the road was extremely bumpy and dusty. Coupled with sudden rise to high altitude, several in my party got car-sick and altitude sickness when we got to the Salinas. The animals and wildlife at the Salinas were wonderful, coupled with the beautiful background of Mt Misti.

Lamas were the most memorable part of this tour, and ability to feed them.
However, the tour was disorganized so the car driver had to be our tour guide.
All in all, It seemed like this tour is not really a GUIDED TOUR, but only transportation to the reserve. It lacked explanations, stories etc….

Amazing! best thing to do in Arequipa the lagoon is stunning with lots of flamingos, definitely worth it whether it’s dry or wet. The breakfast was lovely, remember to take 15 soles pp plus 20 soles for park entry. We were the only group up there and the guide was great, one of the best days ever.

It was nice but doesn’t worth the price. Guide was late and didn’t apologize. He introduced himself only for the Spanish speaking part of the group. Didn’t provide any information proactively only when we asked. I think that it was not the best time of the year - end of June as there was still a lot of water in the lagoon. The positive part was spotting flamingos, vicuñas, llamas & alpacas. Also as we were small group we went in 4x4 vehicle which was nice. Breakfast was 10-15 soles but quite poor - it should definitely be included in the price of tour. Also we were told that hot springs are very small and only 19 degrees so we didn’t go as it’s cold in this altitude and this is not a temperature of hot springs. This should be mentioned in description.

The tour guide is spectacular, innovative with the way they take the experience to another level, you can count that you will have a great time. He also speaks English and tries to explain everything so you get a good understanding of what’s happening.
I wasn’t expecting to see anything else besides the Salinas place, they took a us to a few different places and it was good.
It was worth every single penny.
Congrats to the team for the great work they do. Would recommend 10/10

I was disappointed by this tour as the only reason I booked was to take pictures on the lake as shown in the picture with my reflection. Once arriving there, was told that it wasn't possible as it was too windy that day. So basically rode almost 2hrs up a mountain that was very unsettling due to the terrain and steep drops for nothing. I DID enjoy the beautiful views of the Volcanoes but other than that, this was a waste of time.

We had a great day visiting the Laguna de Salinas and the Aguada Blanca National Reserve. Absolutely stunning views and we even got to see some wild animals such as flamingos and vicunas. Our tour guide Fanny was excellent!

I absolutely loved this trip! The scenery is just breathtaking. Like another planet. And there were almost no tourists. The bus ride in itself is beautiful, and the end destination is also really magical. Jefferson our guide is very sweet. His English could be better, but it worked for the purpose. Remember to bring lunch/water/snacks!

Le lac des Salinas et les sources d'eaux chaudes avec ses lamas en liberté sont un décor tellement sublime qu'il est difficile de le décrire ! Cette immensité au milieu des volcans et montagnes laisse sans voix !
Attention cependant, il faut prévoir de la monnaie car vous avez une halte petit déjeuner qui n est pas prévue après le mirador (7 soles) et vous devez payer 5 soles pour le site d'eaux chaudes.
N'oubliez pas aussi de prévenir que vous ne parlez pas forcement espagnol car nous avions réservé pour une excursion en anglais et tout était en espagnol.
Sinon à part ça c est super ! Le chauffeur fait au mieux pour que la route soit la moins secouée possible et le guide est sympa 😉
