Great way to start our week!

Luis was a great guide. Very knowledgable and we could tell he was obviously a local man who loves his community. The pace was comfortable. He didn't spend too much time in one place yet we felt we saw everything we wanted to. It gave us the lay of the land which set up the remainder of our week in Antigua for success!

The tour was okay but it's not for 4hrs at all. We started at 9am and the tour was over by 11am, only lasted for 2 hrs. No water was offered as mentioned on the tour and you have to pay to enter the cathedral which wasn't mentioned. Otherwise, it's a very quick tour. I think you can do it on your own since Antigua is very small, plus this tour is too expensive for just 2hrs.

Our 1/2 day tour started at our hotel at 9 am and we walked through the square, heard about the buildings there, and then on to a huge old monastery/hotel/convention center/wedding venue/museum. Most of the tour was spent there as it was so big. We didn't get a tour of Le Merced, which I had expected and we spent a great deal of our time in museums. I would have liked more of a tour of the city and explored museums on my own.
