Awesome trip. Bring heavy jacket. It's cold on the mountain and was snowing, not flurries, 2nd week in September. The sites bring to mind and Kodak moment. So many waterfalls.
This was a beautiful scenic trip. We were lucky enough to make it to the top despite a snow storm. Alex our driver and Denim our driver were very good.
Great trip, nice tourguide and a trustworthy busdriver. we were lucky with the weather and had great views
It was an amazing experience all the Places near Geiranger get to know. There ist astouding landscape.
Booked a tour for family and no one showed up. Other Viator operator even assisted us but couldn’t find our guide
Such a wonderful tour! Our tour guide Amy and the bus driver (Anka?) were fabulous. The area we traveled to was gorgeous. It was an informative tour and well worth our time and money.
Big Bus, usually over 40 people. Tour guide gives good insights. Stops are fairly reasonable timed, enough time to take pics. Long drive to Dalsnibba and back, espacially with oncoming traffic. But within the stated time and nice view of the landscape, therefore not boring at all
Tour itself was fine. Sights were beautiful, but very short - needed more time at each stop. This is described as a “Small Group” tour and why I selected it, BUT was on a huge motorcoach. Not a small group, very disappointing and not as described.
Great tour and hit all the heights…literally - View from Dalsnibba was amazing🤯. Great guide who was very knowledgable - thanks Kira…
Beautiful scenery. Very nice tour guide. Well worth the trip. The most beautiful spot we saw in Norway.
Absolutely Amazing! Breathe taking views! Unforgetable. Our driver Lila and guide Anna were amazing!
It was a pretty drive and great if you are used to bus tours. Stopped at some amazing views with great opportunity for lots of photos.
Bullseye visiting points, Perfect views, enough timing for each point, very interesting information about Norway, no unnecessary marketing
Great tour and much less expensive than booking with the cruise line. The bus pick up area could be a little better marked but it was exactly where the description and map said it would be, so rather easy to find. It's a small enough area, and asked one of the bus guides if I was in the right spot and I was.. Narrator Sam gave just enough information without being overly talkative, and our driver navigated the narrow and winding mountain roads like a champ. The weather was favorable so we were able see everything the tour offered, and the views were spectacular. A few more minutes at each stop would have been nice but still enough time to take it all in. I've never used Viator before and was hoping it wasn't a too good to be true because everything was so simple, especially paying in full so close to the tour date and the ability to late cancel. I'll definitely use Viator again.
There aren’t many (any?) tours that reach these kind of heights… in total comfort. Great guide, great driver, great time.
This excursion is a must do that shows the exceptional beauty of Norway. Our guide had excellent knowledge of the excursion area and Norway while our driver was exceptional at negotiating the hairpin turns as we ascended over 4,000 feet.
A must do when in Geiranger! The guide Kira was knowledgeable and shared interesting facts throughout the tour. Her communication was clear. It was because of her the tour experience was elevated. Last but not the least, Mika the wonderful driver drove safely. 10 on 10!
Daniel was an excellent guide, and provided us with great information about Norway, the fjords, the history, nature, and some personal experiences that made the tour both informative and entertaining. The sights were incredibly beautiful, and Daniel gave us lots of time to explore on our own at each of the stops - so happy we took this tour! Normally we avoid bus tours, but we wholeheartedly recommend this one!
If you can’t climb the mountains by foot this is a great option. Loved seeing the construction of the road and hearing the stories from the tour guide. The views were breathtaking! There were plenty of stops with water closets and shops and scenery. Our Tour guide, Kira was very informative, kind and had a pleasant voice. I was so happy I took this tour.
The bus arrived an hour before the excursion. Niko was an excellent driver going up and down the mountains with narrow roads and turns. Keira had a wealth of information to share about Geiranger and was extremely pleasant. The views were outstanding and the entire tour was well worth the money. I would definitely use Viator to book more tours. Book it!
Overall great experience!
It was a little bit hard to identify the bus and the tour guide, but everything after that was smooth and nice!
It was wonderful! Spectacular views and scary road! LOL our driver was a great driver though and tour guide was awesome!
Excellent short excursion to get great views of the mountains and fjord. Quite a lot of driving involved but worth it. It's really cold and windy at the mountain top so dress accordingly. Wouldn't be so worthwhile if it's misty or very cloudy. Our guide was very good too a d provided lots of commentary.
Beautiful scenery. Knowledgeable guide. Excellent driver! We had a great time and beautiful weather. We were able to go to the top of the mountain, the lake, and the look out. This was a great excursion.
Great trip and comfy bus. The person whom spoke on bus made the trip very fun with her fun facts. We felt we had bits of area knowledge
Loved going up and down switch back roads to experience spectacular scenery. The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars was there was minimal AC on the bus and it was a hot day.
Although our guide was excellent and made the best of the situation, the weather wasn’t the best and we had to pass on one stop.
The frozen lake and the views as we climbed the mountain to the 1000 meter point were beautiful. Unfortunately weather made it impossible to go up to the top of the mountain (1500 meters) and the added stop was not anything special. The view of the 7 sisters from Eagles bend viewpoint was underwhelming. Luckily, we had gotten close up from the ship.
We had a wonderful tour with lots of amazing views.
Our tour guide and driver were great.
Would highly recommend this tour if you would like to see the beauty of Geiranger.
The scenery is unbelievable. The guide provided a great commentary about the town and the stops we did. I felt as if I understood Geiranger and some of it's uniqueness.
