A nice and comfortable way to get a closer view of the fjords and waterfalls that make Norway such a beautiful country to visit. Ship was comfortable and allowed us the opportunity to sit inside or go up on deck and enjoy the views.

I inadvertently booked this tour in Geiranger instead of Eidjford the day before the tour. I asked for a tour refund and the tour guide declined my request. I contacted the tour guide in advance of the tour to request refund when I realized that the location was incorrect. People make mistakes and their really isn’t a strong reason to not refymy money especially since the tour was not completely full.

Hello sir, you have sent a message to Viator on the 7th of September at 08:55 to announce your mistake. Your booked tour started at 10:00 that same day. 1 hour before departure no refund is given. Viator offers customers a free cancellation policy up to 24 hours before departure time. Best regards

This was a great 90 minute fjord boat tour - I took the 90 minute tour rather than the 60 minute tour, and did the 5pm version. Hint: find the audio guides quickly (we weren't told where they were and finally saw the stand where they were). It was nice to have seating inside the boat with windows as the weather changes constantly.

There was no information given on the boat for landmarks etc. Some crew were dotted around and you could ask questions, but basic tourist information would have been well received and we felt should have been provided.

We are sorry to hear you have missed all the signs to download the audio guide called: Guide to Go. We have several QR codes inside the tourist information office Geiranger to download this audio guide. Even on the boat itself there are QR codes posted. If you book online you receive an automatic welcome e-mail a couple of days before departure with also the audio guide info mentioned too. Best regards

Tour was a relaxing way to see the fjord. Close up views of the waterfalls. Feel the RIB boat would be more exciting ( that was the tour we thought we signed up for)

There are 2 types of boats into the fjord. You can book the fjordsightseeing boat tour or a RIB (=speedboat) boat tour. Both tours will take you to the same viewpoints and waterfalls. We are happy to hear that you have enjoyed your chosen tour. Best regards

This was a great boat tour. There were a lot of people on our boat so we were thankful we arrived early to get a good spot in line. We found sitting on the upper deck was great for getting a wonderful view of the fjord and the amazing waterfalls. It gets windy up there so we were happy to have layers along to use as needed. It was a great experience.

The views of the fjord and waterfalls were spectacular. I was disappointed with the audio guide. The information was interesting however there was a lot of static through the headsets making it difficult to hear. All three people in our group experienced this. I was unable to download the app needed to hear the information on my phone.

If you sail into this beautiful fjord you have seen everything that this boat tour will provide. The tour literally sails the same exact route your ship just traveled. Just closer to the waterfalls because it’s a much smaller vessel.
No direction given to obtain your audio guide headset etc. they were all in a jumble in a cardboard box on the floor. No need to take this tour at all.

Hello William, the fjordsightseeing boat tour through the Geirangerfjord is indeed returning the same way, double great views on both sides ;-). The start and end point are located in Geiranger, the boat runs a round-trip. You can download the free audio guide app on your phone via the website well in advance. You can also scan this inside the tourist information office, in the queue while boarding or even on the boat itself we have the QR code showing to download. The views were gorgeous but there was no audio. We had no idea what we were looking at. They had earphones and transistors but not enough for everyone, and the poater showed channels for all nationalities except.enflush. peetty.much a waste of time without audio

Hello Flo, We are sorry to hear that you missed the opportunity to download the free audio guide app. The QR code is as well on the in & outside of the boat, just in case guests have missed this. The crew on board can always help you with this. You can also scan the QR code while waiting in the queue or scan inside the tourist information office. On the website you can also download the free audio guide app, this can be done well in advance. We do offer some old-school audio guides with headphones on the boat but we try to minimize this, due to huge amount of waist.
The audio guide is given in 12 different languages.

Our morning tour was cancelled by the Viator representative and rebooked for the afternoon tour. We arrived in plenty of time with printed out copies of the tickets. However, when we arrived at the pier, the tour operator didn't have record that our morning tour was rescheduled to the afternoon tour. They said this was an issue with Viator not updating our reservation?
After heated discussion with the manager and boat captain, they said we would have to wait until everyone had boarded to see if there was enough room for us to board. Luckily, some other travelers didn't make it so we were 'allowed' to board the boat that we booked months ago.
This is a terrible way to manage reservations, they blamed Viator and when I contacted Viator they blamed the boat tour.
The tour itself was lovely and we enjoyed our time on the boat.

We are sorry for this misscommunication. As we did not have the booking in our system and the boat was sold out the crew reacted correct and ask you to wait until the boarding was complete. We know than if there is space as we are not allow to have more passangers on board as our license says. after this is clear they took you on board despite we have no trace of the booking.
