It’s a little out of the way to get to but the guides were very enthusiastic with good stories . Good to test out some ghost hunting equipment!

Was a fun night, however I felt that at some points, we were treated like children, I was scolded for taking a photo, and told to listen to a story...I can actually do two things at once, and felt this soured my night.

Quite disappointing. Wouldn't consider the tour as what it's portrayed... More of a "History Tour" with very little time for actual "investigating", tops 20mins from the entire tour..
Would rather it be smaller groups with a larger time frame for investigating the paranormal, with more up to date paranormal equipment.

The guide and her assistant were both great! They were super friendly and knowledgeable about the jail.
I had the best time. I took the dowsing rods for the ghost hunting part and it was crazy. The spirit was actually responding and I am skeptical guy, I would find an explanation for the movement of the rods if I could.
I didn’t connect the dots there BUT the spirit I was talking to was female and was falsely accused of something. That screams elizabeth woolcock to me. 10/10 tour and the guides. Would definitely recommend anyone coming or staying in Adelaide to do the tour. You can even enjoy if you go alone like I did!

I did enjoy the tour however it seemed more of an historical tour of the gaol, not a ghost tour, it also seemed like lots of talking and little time to use the ghost instruments. Even though the information was interesting, I think a little less info and more time to use the gadgets would be nice, just the speech at the start takes ages before you even enter the gaol. I guess I was just expecting it to be more ghost stuff.

Great experience, we went as a family my for kids 12,14,19,22 plus my sons gf 23 my niece 14 and my mother and mother in law. We all had a great night some had different experiences then others, but all good. Definitely recommend

Thought the tour was boring not what we expected -dangerous as not enough lighting with one torch with ground being so uneven not enough time to explore the museum section didn’t think much of paranormal experience

Was very disappointing we were so excited to be there and to have a cell lockdown but as soon as we started to get active it was time to get out 10 minutes in lockdown was no where near long enough the gruop was way to big and the guides didn't even no the facts of the gaol or how many ppl where hanged in there my brother and I were drown to go upstairs but we were not allowed it was locked up so all in all was a very disappointing experience

Excellent tour guides that share real life stories from the gaol. They showed us photos of the actual people from the gaol and their backgrounds. We explored different areas of the gaol and got to explore the paranormal activities with the different tools to connect with the ghosts. I used the copper rods and was able to connect with ghosts from different locations and it was an experience. One of my photos even includes a face of a man. Highly recommend the tour and not only do you hear about background of the gaol you also get to explore the paranormal which was a first for me.

It was my daughters birthday present wish to have the experience we all had a spooky time. The storeys that were told we're very eye opening and very interesting thumbs up to to two lady's.

The guides were great . We did get there half hour early and thought we were in the wrong place there were no signs displayed to say that the tour was going on and the car park was dark and empty.Two ladies in a dark car park lost

Although we never had any paranormal activity, we really enjoyed the ghost tour , very informative on the history of the people who were incarcerated there.
Haven’t had chance to look at our footage that we took ourselves.

What a fun tour to do with my two girlfriends on our holiday. Out of the three of us two were believers and I was the sceptical one, I was also the one that run out of the cell screaming, lol. The rods that we used to communicate with the spirits of the convicts were going off answering the questions that we asked.......the rods moved with a force, swinging around and hitting my girlfriends arm. It was an awesome experience, best fun ever. The three tour guide were brilliant, very knowledgeable and enjoyable to listen to telling us stories of the convicts who were executed at the prison. I didn't know what to expect but I'm so glad we did this tour......best fun ever...

Couldn’t hear any relevant information as the tour took place when there was high flight pattern of plane’s. Each time tour guide spoke about a building or historical factor we were shivering out butts of in the dark outside and not being able to hear. Potentially move guest inside buildings and start speaking? We were all extremely covered with warm clothing.

More of a history lesson on the jail by two young girls at night time rather than a paranormal experience.
We were given some instruments to attempt to detect paranormal activity which was a bit of fun, but could have bettered the experience by having an ex-guard or ex-prisoner of the jail conduct the tour with real life stories

I was not sure what to expect but really enjoyed the tour. The 2 guides were knowledgeable about the history of the Gaol. I had not expected to be given equipment to test for the presence of ghosts and closed into one of the cells (optional), which really added to the tour. As I was travelling alone I was buddied up with a couple and all 3 of us observed and felt some things that could not have been faked.

I was disappointed in this tour, it was a let down for me, as it was very rushed could explore much, and wasn't given much time in the sells, at the end it just finished and we were rushed out, was boring, wouldn't recommend it to anyone, didn't see much at all

The history of the goal was really interesting, me and my girlfriend are from Melbourne so it was good to get to know a little bit about SA history.
I’d definitely recommend it to anyone.

Not sure what to expect after mixed reviews. Was not disappointed, the guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the prison. We had a great time using the detection equipment as well. Great activity inside of the new area with orb activity viewed on our phone and to the naked eye. Would definitely recommend a visit. If you’re just going there for ghost hunting you’ll be disappointed because that only happens twice during the two hour tour. But if you enjoy the history side then it’s great value for money. One suggestion would be to spend a bit longer in the new section and use a range of the detection equipment, but that’s my only suggestion.
