Itinerary

After morning pickup from a handy location in central Adelaide, board your air-conditioned coach for your city tour.

Roll through the cultural precinct of Adelaide, including the North Terrace, Adelaide Botanic Gardens, the National Wine Centre, and the Botanic Park—home to the Adelaide Zoo and Bicentennial Conservatory. Continue travelling along tree-lined streets in historic North Adelaide, where your guide shares the history of the mansions and historic buildings that you pass.

A stop will be made at the National Wine Centre of Australia, located on the edge of Adelaide’s stunning Botanic Gardens, where you will have free time to explore the Wine Discovery Journey Museum. Your morning will also include a visit to the iconic St. Peter's Cathedral (subject to availability) or the newly developed Adelaide Oval.

After three hours, come back to the city center via the South Parklands, West Terrace, and North Terrace.

Gives a really good orientation to the city of Adelaide and would be best done first before any other tours. Picture is of the Grote Street side of the building. Really well placed and centrally located. Driver Steve was full of info and knows his stuff. Took a mountain of pictures as we saw dozens of statues, monuments, buildings, locations and shops. Fields, rivers, places of interest and so on.

We had a great driver in Peter. The trip was very informative & well paced. The weather was very good for our ability to get on & off the bus at our port of call. The bus was clear, modern & roomey.

We did not do any of the stated places except for the wine museum, We did not do the oval and could not do the Peter’s cathedral as there was a funeral at the time, which should have been checked by the operator before the tour. The tour was disappointing.

For a first timer in Adelaide, this was a great overview tour of the city, plus a most enjoyable visit to the National Wine Center. It was a great start to a 3-day visit, and is the gateway to the Barossa Wine Region.

We had arrived in Adelaide for a short visit. We started our visit with this 3 hour tour of the city to give us a sense of the layout, history, etc. The tour covered what we needed to make the rest of our visit more pleasant and the city more familiar. Very worthwhile.

A great way to start your visit to Adelaide. The advantage is getting to see all the highlights that you can then return to as you wish. The guide (Athol) was fantastic and very informative. We loved North Adelaide

No Chocolate or Wine...

No Chocolate or Wine Museum stop off... no prior advice given. Though masks are mandatory a family of five, one older son with a terrible continual cough, not one wore a mask. No one was asked to wear masks until I quietly raised the issue with the driver. One elderly man moved away from them. Really not acceptable. Very poor value for money, driving in circles for $75pp. The only good point was a visit to Telstra Oval.

False advertising. All we did was drive around and only stopped at the Wine Centre and had to purchase our own drink. I thought we were going to stop at more places. Totally over priced and would appreciate a refund. Toby the driver did a good job.
