This was horrible. There was no history of the city. We were given only minutes to visit a few sights then dumped off at Handorf for 90 minutes with no guide. It was worthless.

Wonderful personalised service. Sam, our driver and tour guide, was very knowledgable about all the local features and history and very friendly. We were fortunate to be driven in an exceptionally presented Mercedes limo. We were very happy with our excursion and highly recommend Bums on Seats. Our driver got lost and rushed us At Hahndorf and was too busy looking at his phone and nearly ran a red light only stopped when a passenger in our tour yelled to stop was terrifying we was supposed to do the Adelaide highlights but we opted to get off the bus instead

Very pleasant and well mannered driver Yash , with good communication skills gave us a memorable tour of Adelaide, a drive to Mount Lofty for a photo shot of the city, then onto Hahndorf for shopping , and visiting museum, art gallery etc
Would highly recommend Yash. He picked us up from our apartment and dropped us back. All in all a delightful outing!

This is a first class experience. We were transported in a luxury Toyota van with fully adjustable Captains chairs, a smooth comfortable ride, great info from our host, Waz, and beautiful scenery.

We had an enjoyable trip to Mt Lofty and Hahndorf. Plenty of time at each destination. The driver was very knowledgeable and friendly. Travelling through Adelaide was very informative - the driver knew all the facts and figures on building, statues etc.

Enjoyed the visit to the pretty German village of Hahndorf but the Adelaide city highlights was a complete waste of time, we just drove past a couple of places of interest. The tour guide was not very knowledgeable and was more interested in getting an extra 40 AUD from us both, which wasn’t mentioned on the Viator website and also other couples from the cruise ship didn’t pay it, which I couldn’t understand. Compared to the other tours I booked through Viator which were great, I found this inferior and not value for the money.

The driver needs to have more information on the history and be able to answer questions about the surrounding area when asked.

On time pickup at the cruise ship terminal. Right away it became apparent that the guide (AP) was going to be a problem. He seemed like a nice guy but his accent was pronounced and he spoke to the front seat passenger rather than the other 7 passengers. He said the van had a microphone but that it was not working. Only occasionally did he speak to the entire group; he never did ask if everyone could hear him. He pointed out some landmarks in the city but didn't provide much history. No mention was made of modern life in Adelaide (industry, health care, etc.). Stops at Mt Lofty and Hahndorf were enjoyable. On arrival back at the terminal, we were informed that there was an additional charge of $40 AUD for the pickup there. We weren't notified of this charge previously. We've done probably a couple of hundred shore excursions (at least); this was certainly in the bottom five or ten. NOT recommended.

I am the friend who travelled with the person who booked this tour. The guide, Paul, called the Women's Hospital, 'Tits and Tots' and used offensive language often during the trip. He refused to believe that coffee and cake were included in the tour. He made me uncomfortable and unhappy. I wanted to leave his car and find my own way back but put up with him for 4 hours.

Enjoyed seeing the sights of Adelaide and the trip to Handorf with delicious morning tea. Mt Lofty was covered in cloud so it was disappointing not to be able to get there.
Driver was a little off handed at times, but that added to the fun of the morning as the other people on the bus were pleasant.
It would have been better if we could have had a few minutes to photograph the city especially from the hills.. I would have appreciated a little more info, although the driver Paul did explain that he is a Tour guide not historian.

The knowledge I had about Mt lofty and that’s why I took you the long way up thru the hills to see the city before we hit the clouds ??
And I’m not sure where you could park for a photo on that road ??
There are some fantastic walking tours in Adelaide which my suit people better if your looking a historical tour ?
