We were visiting from MSC...

We were visiting from MSC cruise, didn’t want to do their shore excursion via the ship. Came across this excursion I found on TikTok and it was wonderful! Honduras is a busy port with cruise vendors coming at your throat, it’s highly irritating and annoying. The area is a little rough outside the cruise port. Once passed the port area, off to the resort, it’s beautiful. The resort was nice and clean. The location was great and we had a wonderful private driver, Kendrick!!!!! He gave us a guided tour on our way to the resort, pointed out great pic spots and souvenir shops. Food and drinks weren’t included with our day pass, but both food and drinks were great!!! The beach and pool area was included.

Great Day at Monkey and Sloth Sanctuary and West Bay!

Jose was absolutely awesome! We had such a great day, and he went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. My dad had a mobility scooter, and Jose helped us figure everything out to make sure he was comfortable and able to enjoy the experience. He made sure our entire group was taken care of from start to finish and was always willing to help with anything we needed. His kindness, attentiveness, and outstanding service made our day that much better. We truly appreciate everything he did and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our driver was Emmanuel who was very knowledgeable about the island. We were the first at the animal park and really enjoyed the animals there. It was raining so I didn't snorkel, but my husband did and he said it was great, still saw a lot of fish! Highly recommend this tour and Emmanuel!

It was raining but we didn't want to cancel. So glad we didn't. Stanley was an amazing tour guide and very passionate about the island. He made sure we got to do everything we wanted to and even got us back to the ship early. He to every consideration to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. Loved the monkeys and sloths and other animals, chocolate and run factories and of course pictures at the rhoatan sign. Stanley is very knowledgeable about the history of the island and willingly shared it with is.

Our driver and tour conductor Tyler was excellent. He gave us so much knowledge from the island and was very friendly. My mother in law who has mobility issues and a scooter was accommodated so well. I loved going to the chocolate factory, the rum factory, and souvenir shopping. It was all excellent. Highly recommend using them.

Loved it

A very nice young man came to walk us about 5 minutes to the location. He then showed us where the bathrooms were at and he then took us to free lockers. Then he took us to a truck that takes you up the mountain which is an adventure within its self. Then there are 4 guides that will talk to you about safety before the fun begins. All of them were amazing. From there you go to the zoo where again you will meet more amazing people , monkeys, sloth and birds. We truly enjoyed it all.

Monkey and sloth sanctuary and private beach

Our tour guide was amazing! She was so knowledgeable about the area and answered all of our questions! She got us everywhere safely and managed our time well and made sure we were back to port in plenty of time. The excursions themselves were wonderful! We had a lot of time with all of the animals and learned so much about the native species. The private island was so beautiful! The beach was clean with crystal blue water, lots of marine life to see while snorkeling, and the drinks were 💯! We can’t wait to come back!

Worth every penny

10/10 experience, ziplining was soo much fun and the staff is very playful and lighthearted. Snorkling was at a gorgeous location and we were able to see coral reef and so many fish. Also we're able to hold the monkeys and the birds and took photos with sloths. Prince, Davids, Luis and Freddy were all amazing. Definitely recommend.

Amazing Mother-Daughter Experience—Safe, Personal, and Unforgettable!

My teenage daughter and I had a wonderful experience on the Monkey, Sloth, and Drift Snorkel Tour in Roatán! It was just the two of us, and we felt completely safe and comfortable throughout the entire excursion. Meeting our guide just outside the cruise port was easy, and we had our own private driver. He was courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. Our guide at the monkey and sloth sanctuary was amazing—welcoming, informative, and patient. He answered all our questions and made sure we each had plenty of time interacting with the animals. Our snorkeling guide was also wonderful. He explained everything clearly and helped ease any anxiety we had about snorkeling in the ocean, making us feel safe and confident. The entire experience was well organized, personal, and enjoyable from beginning to end. My daughter and I made incredible memories, and I would absolutely recommend this tour—especially to mothers traveling alone with their children or teenagers!
