THE BEST ACTIVITY IN BACALAR
I must admit that I didn't have high expectations; however, the combination of Silvia's attention and knowledge, and the majesty and beauty of the place, made this the best activity of our vacation so far. The experience is worth every penny it costs. Highly recommended!

Incredible experience.
Excursion more than recommended. Seeing the sunrise in that natural paradise is an unparalleled feeling. The guide's (Ángelo) explanation completes the experience and helps to better understand the environment and Mexican society. A true pleasure for the senses.

The best of the tours to enjoy the beautiful Bacalar lagoon, the boat is very comfortable, safe, and its captain is very kind, helpful, they offer snacks and drinks on the tour, and they take you to the best places in the lagoon, making the trip a unique experience.

Boat tour on Bacalar
I loved the tour. The magnificent landscapes. The 3 guides Romel, Carlos and Laura were super nice. I highly recommend this tour. Furthermore, we have enough time to swim in the different parts of the lagoon. It was great :) go for it without thinking

Worth it!
We really enjoyed it, Jonathan was an incredibly likable captain who knew everything well and recommended the best places for swimming. In addition, there are delicious drinks during the trip and after the trip you can rent a kayak for free for the whole day. We can only recommend the tour :)

Laguna Bacalar Pontoon Tour - Captain Carlos
The lagoon tour is an experience that one cannot miss if visiting Bacalar. My husband and I were amazed by the magic of the place, the comfort of the pontoon leaving from Casa China, the service provider (DayTour Bacalar), and the excellence and warmth of our Captain Carlos. Very few have that genuine quality regarding their relationship with their clients. As a guide he is very good, it is very interesting to know the history of the place and a useful recommendation or two. The day was cloudy and it rained on us, but that added even more effects to the lagoon, so don't get discouraged if you go in the fall and the day isn't sunny; you will enjoy it just the same without worries about the extreme sun. Our tour was the 3pm one.
Thank you very much Captain Carlos. Regards, Lili and Gwyn.

Guides who take great care of you
Superb tour in the lagoon on a sailboat whose sails, for lack of wind, remained furled. But it doesn't matter, the engine is a very good plan B. At the helm, a duo of captains/guides: Angelo and Andrian. As friendly as they are knowledgeable. I recommend it!

Unique and perfect experience
Complete outing on a sailboat that allows you to appreciate the extraordinary environment with the sound of the wind and not the engines. Our skipper Jorge was discreet but very attentive, which made our experience unforgettable, away from mass tourism. The included parking is an appreciable plus.

Don't miss it
We did the sunrise sailboat tour with our family of five, three children included, and it was one of the best parts of the trip. Lara and Eduardo are a great crew, especially with children: patient, attentive, and with very good energy, they managed to make the little ones feel safe and entertained the entire trip. Leaving early was worth every minute, the lagoon was like a mirror and the seven colors looked incredible.
In addition to the sailing, we learned a lot: they explained clearly to us about the stromatolites, the origin of the lagoon, and how to take care of it. You can tell that they love what they do and that they care about the place. Sailing only with the wind, in silence, is an experience that stays with you.
One hundred percent recommended. Thank you, Lara and Eduardo, for an unforgettable sunrise.

Excellent staff
The stop at the convenience store at the beginning is to buy breakfast and food. Even though the tour provides water and fruit, you might crave something more. There is no stop to eat and the activity does last 12 hours.
Armando the tour guide and Argus the driver are excellent people and their service is super good. They give you time to do everything, very attentive to any wildlife sightings.

Gorgeous lagoon!!!!!!
A trip that is TOTALLY worth it!!! Incredible views, fantastic attention from Javi and Omar (captain and guides). The lagoon is beautiful, and the stories they told us about the different sites we visited made us fall even more in love with the place. Beautiful spots for swimming, delicious food, and the open bar helped us relax. The sunset view is unparalleled.
