Amazing Porto Tour!

This was a phenomenal all inclusive experience! Our guide Scotch was wonderful and created warmth and camaraderie throughout the four hour tour with stories and points of collection. The tour was timed well and being able to do a walking tour of central Porto, go into the bookstore, go on the Gaia cable care and do a bout tour in four hours was impressive. Highly recommend!

A great day out

A great day out into the beautiful Douro valley. Ricardo was a great guide with perfect English and a great sense of humour. This was a wonderful way for us to get from Porto to Lisbon and see some of the sites in between. Antonio is a great driver and a good tour guide. The place where he set us up for lunch in Nazere was outstanding, a local place we would not have found if he hadn’t taken us there.We did stops in 3 places. It was a wonderful day of visiting some places we might not have seen if we’ve chosen another form of transportation to go between the service. I would highly recommend this..

A great day in Poro

First I must say that Andre (our driver and tour guide) was incredible. We learned so much from him and he was so friendly and an incredible driver. The roads to get to where he took us were not easy to navigate. The Duoro Valley winery and river boat cruise was a great part of our trip to Poro and so glad we took this trip.

Great day in the valley

A great day exploring the Douro Valley by bus, train and boat. Made even more fun by our guide Vitor. It was well planned — the vineyard and winery were very interesting and port for breakfast was good! The lunch was tasty and the wine kept flowing. And views from the train and the boat were magnificent. Our small group was great fun as well. Really fun day.

Nuno was a great guide! This is a great tour for those who do not have time to go up to the Duoro wine region. Nuno was very knowledgeable about the entire process and you are given many version of the wine to taste. Highlight of our trip! Our guide Teresa was excellent! Very knowledgeable about the history of Portugal. We visited several authentic food venues, a tavern, a bakery, a wine store. The food was delicious and so wasn’t the beer, wine and port. It was a small group of nine so we also met some wonderful people. Recommend!

This was the perfect activity to end our trip to Porto. You get to see the city of Porto and Gaia (the opposite side of the river) from a different perspective from the water. Worthwhile excursion from Porto.

You will see a lot of interesting areas and hear the history of the colorful fishermen’s homes. If If you have a free day in Porto, this tour is worth taking! Riding the Venetian gondola was interesting. Sit in the middle of the gondola otherwise you may not hear the tour leader as he points out sites in various languages. The pick up point was hectic because not clear to the travelers. We were told to look for « a guide wearing red ».
