Overall very enjoyable...

Overall very enjoyable although preferred the western part to the eastern part. Guide (Renato) was very knowledgeable about the island, particularly its fauna and vegetation and we enjoyed his sense of humour; and a good driver on what are challenging roads in places. It would have been useful/helpful to provide simple maps on each day to show the route taken and stopping off points.

An Incredible Luxury Whale Watching Experience!

This was one of the highlights of our honeymoon in Madeira! We booked the luxury dolphin and whale watching excursion in Funchal, and we were so impressed from start to finish. We loved that the experience was limited to a small group, which made the entire excursion feel very personal and relaxed. We were welcomed by the captain and two crew members, who were all incredibly friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. They shared so much information with us and made the experience both educational and fun. We were also pleasantly surprised by the level of service throughout the trip. There was a wonderful selection of food and drinks provided, and the boat itself was incredibly spacious and comfortable. They even took professional photos for us and send them after the trip. It truly felt like a luxury experience rather than just a typical boat tour. And, of course, seeing whales in the wild was absolutely amazing! After whale watching, we headed to a beautiful spot where we were able to get in the water and swim, which was the perfect addition to the day. We did have a small mishap with the boat during our excursion, but I have to give a lot of credit to the crew. They remained calm, professional, and collected, quickly worked through the issue, and still made sure we had an amazing experience. Their attitude really stood out to us and showed how committed they were to making the most of our day. We would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Madeira. It was such a memorable part of our honeymoon, and we would absolutely love to do it again!

High-energy highlights in one day

Great way to see many of the island's highlights in one go. The Porto Moniz pools were the stand-out stop-off point for me; as good if not better than the Blue Lagoon in Iceand. Stunning. Cheap. Great facilities. And our brilliant and lovely guide Diago booked a great restaurant for us to have lunch in afterwards. Have the black scabbard!! The sky walk is underwhelming in my opinion, but, heh, I crossed it off anyway as part of this trip. The Fenal forest is so pleasant. I grew up on a farm in Ireland and it reminded me of times spent up the fields there during the summers. The real joy of this trip came from our guide Diago and his fun, intelligent attitude. Do it!!

Great walk with fantastic views

Brilliant experience. The weather for us was just perfect. Being above the clouds was phenomenal. It wasn’t too busy, views were ‘wow’ and then we got to sit and watch the sun set. Driver Luis was great and funny. Only thing that would have made it a little better was we were in a small minibus with two other couples and we were sat at the back and our friends were sat at the front so when Luis was chatting about the island and tips of what to do or foods to try we couldn’t hear what was being said so had to rely on friends to relay back to us, But other than that, we loved it. The pictures on the internet do make the walk look more scary than it is in real life ! FYI

Spotted Dolphins

The guys worked hard to make sure we saw some Marine Wildlife, we have been before and saw whales previously. This time we saw a pod of nearly 70 Spotted Dolphins. The guys give an explanation and background of what you have seen on the return journey. A nice relaxed and friendly tour again.

The only way to see Maderia.

The only way to see the island, a small independent company operated by two great local guys. Fábio an absolute gentleman took care of us on this superb adventure across Madeira. The sites, the hills, the views the adventure off road was just superb. A full day trip that was just a pleasure. Every stop is around 20 minutes from each so it feels easy and the shortcuts the 4X4 takes themselves are entertainment.

Great driver and experience
