Nice tour for the whole family.

Vanessa_B, Dec 2025
Great well organized site with headphones to listen to the tour. Totally worth it. Easy and not crowded .

Waste of time

Susan_W, Sep 2025
Pods don't work . Not friendly on reception. Just give the listening device & leave you to it , very unprofessional

A hidden gem

Ruth_H, May 2025
Audio guide takes you round the exhibits and explains the use of the sports stadium. Extra AI experience at 4€ is well worth the money and shows you how Ancient Rome once looked.

Good tour!

L_S, Apr 2025
Great tour. You go st your own pace and listen with the handheld device they give you. Very interesting to learn about the underground of the Piazza. We would recommend to anyone.

Conveniently located and...

CarrieL, Apr 2025
Conveniently located and easily accessible. Audio guide was clear and thorough. I've been to Rome a few times and this was my first visit to this site. This is a nice activity solo or with family or friends. Takes less than an hour so it's a nice break from longer tours.

Response from Host, Apr 2025

Thanks 🤩

This was a nice excursion...

Alison_C, Nov 2024
This was a nice excursion to do. It is on the smaller side so you do not have to designate as much time for it compared to other sites, I would say 30 mins-1 hour. We got the audio guide which I would definitely recommend getting. It is not as exciting as other major monuments but does provide you with interesting history.

Nice New Attraction in Rome

Tom_J, Oct 2024
It was interesting viewing another underground ancient Roman site such as the Stadium of Domitian. You had to imagine just how large this stadium was in ancient times from these small ruins. Cool site to see. A newer attraction in Rome. Glad I went to visit the site, since I like ancient history!

Response from Host, Dec 2024

thanks

Well worth the visit

Mariacasa30, Oct 2024
Visited Rome many times but this was the first time I visited the underground stadium and I wasn't disappointed. It was very interesting learning its history. I especially liked the 3D video showing the changes of the stadium from the beginning to present day. Awesome!

Response from Host, Dec 2024

Thanks 😊

Informative, not crowded, audio guide and other media very good.

Isa_B, Sep 2024

Piazza Navona Underground

Kya_L, Sep 2024
We found this really interesting and informative and was very well done! I have been to Piazza Navona many times but had never realised exactly what was underneath. Thanks for the great experience.

Response from Host, Dec 2024

Neat if you like ruins

Sara_H, Sep 2024
Really cool thing to see. It had a lot of info about the stadium and other stuff. We were glad we ran into it when walking around, and our tour guide from another tour told us about it.

Response from Host, Dec 2024

Thanks 😊

Lynn_W, Jul 2024

Nice museum

The staff was very helpful. The audio tour was easy to understand and informative. Museum entrance was a little difficult to find and not well marked. But would recommend

Roman Olympics

Justin_K, Jun 2024
This was inexpensive and informative and gave us a chance to get out of the heat and under ground where it was cooler for an hour or so. No idea why they leaned so hard into dinosaur bones in the gift shop, but a fun experience to learn about what existed before Piazza Navona

Response from Host, Jun 2024

Thanks 😊

Nice but small!

Meghan_C, May 2024
Very interesting and informative, but smaller than anticipated! Wish we had access to more! We used the self guided tour!

Response from Host, Jun 2024

Thanks

Don't miss this - a memorable tour.

Mark_F, May 2024
Fascinating self guided audio tour - superb value for money, lots of information to read/listen to. Not too busy either, so away from the crowds!

Response from Host, Jun 2024

Thanks 😊

Worth it!

Arelie_R, May 2024
Loved learning about the history of the underground stadium of Domitian. Great price for an opportunity to see ruins and listen to the stories.

Nice tour

Shannon_B, Apr 2024
I enjoyed learning about the piazza navonas origin and seeing the remains of the stadium. There is a vr experience that costs extra, yet there are no signs inside stating that this is additional. I was told afterwards that the cost is mentioned on a flyer? But I was never given a flyer when I came in. I did enjoy the vr experience because it allowed you to see what various places looked like in their original and full glory. Just wished I had been a sign clearly stating that this is extra.

Response from Host, Jun 2024

Thanks

Not memorable

katietalbot01, Feb 2024
If you’ve got time, could be an interesting visit. The audioguide waffles on a lot, much preferred to read the posters.

Response from Host, Feb 2024

Thanks

Worth Checking Out

Nadia_A, Feb 2024
Very cool to see how the city is layered, as one of the locals put it, " like lasagna". A lot of information provided about everything in there and what different areas would have been used in it. Worth checking out.

Response from Host, Feb 2024

Thanks 😊

Cool self guided tour of lost history.

Chris_S, Oct 2023
Cool little self guided tour of lost history. If you have an extra hour or so, I would definitely check this out.

Terrible customer service

Pamela_S, Oct 2023
Even though we reserved a ticket in advance they did not bother to tell us they were closed for a private event. And the staff were VERY rude! Disappointing!

Response from Host, Feb 2024

hello we are very sorry for what happened. we hope to accommodate you soon to apologize for the bad episode.

Great experience

Gabriella_C, Oct 2023
It was a great tour, well presented, the audio cassette system was great & all of the reading material supported what we were hearing. Very informative & always so amazed with how advanced people were so many centuries ago.

Response from Host, Feb 2024

Hidden gem

Michele_M, Aug 2023
We loved learning about and seeing this hidden gem piece of history. We wish they would have been able to uncover and preserve more of it. The audio tour was helpful and so were the plaques and videos.

Judy_T, May 2023

POOR TOUR/VISIT

Robert_H, Nov 2022
Very difficult to find entrance. Description states it is next to Raphael Hotel - this hotel has been closed for a long time, so it's hard to find and you have to wander around the piazza looking for a single doorway for the stadium. Audio guide was a waste - battery died at second stop and couldn't care less about it - just took it back and didn't offer a replacement - had to share with wife. Audio guide description is long and boring, reading the signs is just as informative and faster. Very little to see here, mostly brick columns, a few arches and some broken statues. Spend more time at the colosseum, you'll get more out of it.

Response from Host, Jan 2023

fortunately your review is a very isolated case.

Boring and repetitive

Lianne_K, Oct 2022
This was a very boring experience and all the info seemed the same as what I had already learnt at the other major attractions

Response from Host, Oct 2022

fortunately your review is a very isolated case.

Quick and interesting

Allison_M, May 2022
Interesting area to visit. Short but organized and a simple way to see a bit of all of the ruins still under Rome’s current streets.

Response from Host, Jun 2022

Thanks 😊
