Having a private tour guide was very efficient as we skipped very long lines. Our tour guide, Maura, was fantastic and gave us a personalized experience that we couldn’t get with a group.

Thank you for choosing our Vatican Tour – Made in Rome Tours!
Having a private tour made going through the Vatican so easy and we learned so much more because we could ask questions and even stop to look at something longer or shorter. Our guide was fantastic.

As a family who have traveled all over the globe, we were incredibly surprised that our last-minute reservation to tour Saint Peter’s Basilica, Sistine Chapel, and gardens was led by one of the best tour guides we have ever had! Alexandra was incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, kind, and engaging to all of us on the tour. She made the entire experience five star.!

A very informative tour led by knowledgeable and friendly guides, Giada for the Vatican Museums and Susanna for the Basilica.
The agency was very responsive and helpful in providing a wheelchair rental that made the tour possible.

Thank you for choosing our Vatican Tour – Made in Rome Tours!
We had a wonderful private tour and learned so much about the Vatican! Even with Sistine Chapel being closed, due to the conclave, the day was full of interesting facts and places. The additional skip-the-line tickets to Santa Maria Majori were such a blessing to us. Thank you for a great tour!
It was wonderful, very informative. Sylvia gave so much good information and customized tour to our needs.
Very knowledgeable guide that adapted his tour to suit everyone‘s needs, including our 4 year old. Very child friendly.
Santi was the tour guide for our group of 6, which was great because we had someone dedicated to ensure we got through the lines smoothly, found our way from each destination of the tour and navigated through the busy crowds. I expect not as busy as summertime but still busy. Santi was practical and kept us on track so we could enjoy all the main highlights. It wasn’t clear upon booking confirmation how early to arrive at meeting spot. I recommend arriving at least 30 minutes because it is a good 15-20 minute walk to the designated Vatican entrance from the meeting spot and we found ourselves walking very quickly (something to keep in mind especially if you have elderly in your group like we did). Overall, I recommend a dedicated tour guide as going through the Vatican on a busy day can be overwhelming and hearing/learning about the Vatican from the tour guide adds so much to the experience!
Having a private tour guide was really great. We were able to see what our tour guide was showing us without any obstructions of other people in the group; she was very knowledgeable and was able to answer our questions; and she showed passion in her job as a tour guide.
Great day! Our guide was wonderful and knowledgeable. Easy in and out of the Vatican and nice to skip all of the lines.
There were many and to have this experience w our guide Phillips was the icing on the cake! Our guide has such exceptional knowledge that prepared us well for the visit to the Sistine Chapel
With always a special take if the times that were depicted
Easy and prompt check in. Monica was very knowledgeable in all aspects of the history and significance of the entire site for over 3 hours. Excellent experience!
Thank you Linette! a truly inspiring tour. This lady is the best, most knowledgeable tour operator we have ever had. Highly recommended tour and worth a good tip! Thank you
Alyssia was an amazing tour guide for our Vatican tour. She was knowledgeable and informative and helpful
Everyone must visit the Vatican to experience the wealth of art, architecture, beauty and history on display in this holy and magnificent city. Barbara made our visit even more enjoyable with her great knowledge and love of this magnificent trove of western civilization.
Santi was our private tour guide. Very knowledgeable and informative about our tour. Very nice to have a private tour to avoid the lines. Very glad my husband and I chose a private tour.
Our guide Santi, gave us an amazing tour of the Vatican museum and kept our 4 teens engaged throughout. He kept us moving thru the overwhelming crowd while sharing the best works of art and history.
We paid $$$ for a 3 hr private tour. Senti was our guide. He did an ok job but after 2 hours he left us and pointed to the Basilica and left us alone. It felt like he couldn’t wait to be done. Would not spend $752 for private tour for 2 people.
This was a fine tour, it seemed for the cost it was more about access to skipping lines rather than the story or additional information.
What a great tour! Skip the line tickets are essential, and our tour guide was wonderful! She was very knowledgeable and helped us cover a lot of ground, but at our pace. The Vatican is truly amazing.
Our private tour with Barbara was awe-inspiring. Two millennia of history in a few hours. Barbara, our guide crammed all of her knowledge into our 3 hour experience, leaving is with a thirst for more!
We all were overwhelmed by the beauty and magnificence of this glorious treasure. Andrea, our guide, was the best! He was so knowledgeable about the Vatican Museum, Michaelangelo and the Sistine Chapel. I am the oldest in the family group and he made sure I was comfortable. He is a treasure as well! This tour was private and we did indeed "skip the line ".
Barbara was outstanding! She was extremely knowledgeable about Rome and especially the Vatican. I certainly would take a tour with her as the tour guide again!
Maria was a fantastic tour guide! She knew so much about the museum, the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s and all the works of art within them. She made the whole experience more exciting since we knew what we were looking at and the history behind it! What a highlight of our trip to Rome! Highly recommend Maria— she was awesome!
Enjoyed our day with Maria. She was amazing and some accommodating to my mother whom has some difficulties with walking and breathing. Her patience and knowledge ensured we saw “it all” and yet avoided crowds and numerous lines. We had an amazing experience that will last a lifetime,
