It was fantastic and the visit of a lifetime. I had been to Stonehenge back in 1987, but there was already a fence around it and I could not get near it. This trip brought us right into the inner circle and it was magical. The visit to Long Barrow and Avesbury was also wonderful.
Our guide, Hayley was knowledgeable and gave us some very interesting insights at each stop.
Shout out to our driver, Vinnie.
Be aware that there is a long walk up an incline to get to the long barrows, in case you have any mobility issues.

It was a special treat to be able to go into the inner circle of the stones! I especially enjoyed the evening aspect of the tour. Avebury and Marlborough were a nice caveat to the whole day. A perfect tour! You will not regret the memories and the PICS!

It was so incredible to be able to walk among the stones in a small group in the evening. The light was beautiful. It was wonderful to get pictures without other people in them.
We saw where the regular tours are allowed to walk. It was not very close to the stones, let alone in amongst them. It is worth every penny to book a special access tour like this.
Our guide was great and the bus driver was too. I highly recommend booking a tour with Anderson Tours.

my daughter and I had this epic adventure exploring Stonehenge, Longbow, and Avebury. And let me tell you, walking right into the inner circle of Stonehenge was like stepping into a time machine and totally worth the money. Seriously, those massive stones had us feeling like time travelers!
Our tour guide, an acual archaeologist, was the real deal. This guy had stories that made the whole experience come alive. It was like he knew the stones personally or something! He shared exactly the right amount, answered all of our questions and the tour really felt personalized to just us even though we were in a group of 30. I have been on enough tours to know this is a skill and I'm sure the other passengers would agree that they felt the same!
What totally rocked was that we weren't rushed through any of it. We had time to really soak in the vibes, snap pics, and imagine what life was like back then. It was like we had a backstage pass to history.
Oh, and shoutout to our bus driver! This dude knew those twisty roads like the back of his hand, even when it was pouring rain, in the dark. We were in the front so we could see everything and we felt safe and comfy, which meant we could focus on having a blast.
In a nutshell, our trip was like stepping into a history book. With the archaeologist guide, the chill pace, and a grear driver, it was an adventure that connected us to the past in the most awesome way. My daughter and I are gonna be talking about this for ages and it is SO worth the money. I would save for years for a tour like this!

Absolutely spectacular. Went in thinking “well I spent a bunch of money to see a big circle of rocks”. Came out thinking how amazing Stonehenge really is. Everyone should make a pilgrimage to see the stone circle. It is simply amazing.

The Stonehenge Special Access Evening Tour from London was spectacular! Special thanks to Brenden, our coach driver, and Kelly, our tour guide, for making the day a once-in-a-lifetime experience. My son and I made the trip from Wisconsin to the UK to celebrate the end of my 7-month breast cancer journey. Daydreaming of seeing Stonehenge kept me going though the grueling chemo treatments. We attempted to find the meet-up bus stop location on our own using the tube but we got terribly lost. I was neary in tears assuming we had missed the tour but Brenden called to see where we were. He gave us directions to the bus stop but we got lost again. He told us to stay where we were and came to pick us up! That was above and beyond excellent customer service. Thank you, Brenden! Kelly's tour of the Longbarrow, Avery and Stonehenge was very informative and entertaining. We had a fabulous day. I highly recommend this tour for anyone considering it; it was a highlight of our trip to the UK.

We took this trip on Friday May 11 with Nicholas?, and it was honestly the highlight of my 2 week to the UK. We were picked up promptly in a very nice coach with a toilet, and Nicholas provided us with a lot of information about the prehistory of England as we drove to the Neolithic sites. He was really well-informed and easy to talk to, and catered to the wide variety of guests on the tour. Avebury was a gorgeous, small, medieval town that we had about an hour and a half in. Nicholas gave us a quick tour of the town and then let us wander around by ourselves for a good amount of time. West Kennet Long Barrow, the Neolithic burial tomb, was fascinating to go in, even if our time there was short. The best part of this is obviously the private, one hour viewing of Stonehenge you get to experience. Our group was the only group that had access to the inner circle that night, and it was an experience I'll never forget. Plenty of time at each location, and Nicholas was so pleasant and informative to talk to about the sites and history. The security guards working that night were also so friendly and fun and gave us even more info about current research being conducted at the site. Take this tour you will not regret it!!

This was an incredible trip/opportunity. To have access to Stonhenge after closing and be able to walk among the stones was so unique and so wonderful. Manon, our tour guide, was knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Cliff, our driver was terrific as well. If you have the opportunity to take this tour, don't pass it up. I highly recommend it.

This was a fantastic opportunity to go into the circle of stones after the park was closed to the public. Our group were the only ones there and our guide was wonderful at giving us detailed history of the area. It was up close and personal, something you don't get with other tours.
A suggestion for improvement would be to have the same drop off points as pick up points in the morning. It helps those not familiar with the area to plan better. Our tour guide was very helpful with advice to anyone who needed it to get back to their hotels, but having the same drop off and pick up points would have been better. Thank you for an AMAZING experience!
