I'm so glad I did this.

I'm so so so glad I did this tour! I had planned on trying all the traditional foods I researched. There was no way to do it on my own. We hit ten spots. I tried everything but the herring. I don't eat raw fish. Our tour guide was awesome 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿!!! He took us to non touristy places We saw long lines but went to last known ones with better food. Leave some room in your luggage you're going to want to get some cheese, chocolates. It was a long but fun day. It rained come and hard but we were a good group and toughed it out. Lots of Amsterdam/Holland history. I loved it

Wonderful tour

The tour was perfect, Blanca is very knowledgeable and give us a lot of good information. We had to skip Marken due to road closures but we were able to spend more time in Zaanse Schans. Edam is a beautiful town. I wished we had more time in Volemdam because is a big town with lots to explore. This tour was worth it.

We booked the river cruise that departed from the dock across from the Rijksmuseum. This was a smaller boat than you see in the photos so we toured some of the smaller canals. The driver and host provided great commentary along the route. They were very friendly as well. Highly recommend.

Hidden gem of a tour/ come hungry!

This tour is more than it’s advertised as. First we met in an adorable shop in Amsterdam Gastrovino Amsterdam where we joined a small group. We met Todd, our guide, and started with three stroopwaffel liquor, white wine, three cheeses and some cured meat. At our first stop we had fish and eel. The eel as amazing!! Todd didn’t push any food people had an aversion to!! At the next stop we had coffee to order and we watched Todd make us stroopwaffles. They were delicious! The next stop was for fries! We shared a huge amount of fries and the group couldn’t finish them! Our last stop Was apple pie and some beer!! All along Todd shared cultural and historical information. We walked and really enjoyed the food and the company. Todd was fantastic! When it started to rain he provided umbrellas! He was very cautious with us crossing streets. This tour was 3 hours long and worth every penny!

Very informative tour with great snacks

Andrea was our amazing, informative, wonderful guide. She provided a very complete history of the red light district as well as of the city of Amsterdam. Pointed out key buildings and explained events that have shaped the city today. She provided a matter-of-fact descriptions of the historic and current laws regarding the red light district. Stops for pancakes, jenever, croquettes and stroopwaffles added appreciation for the area.

Awesome introduction to all things Amsterdam!

Only hours after arriving in Amsterdam we wisely took this tour giving us a perfect introduction to this charming city on canals. We loved every minute with our guide Maddy! She was perfect for our intimate group of 4, with a wealth of knowledge as a local. Fun, friendly and in tune with our group she guided us across town with ease. We sampled a variety of small plates and drinks throughout the city. And we’re given lots of interesting facts about Amsterdam we never would have known on our own. We highly recommend touring with this company and hopefully you will be assigned to amazing Maddy!

Great Tour, Good Food

Our tour started with apple pie, ended with Dutch croquettes, and was filled with good food and company in between. Our tour guide, Elena, was very sweet and knowledgeable. She shared a lot of history about Dutch food and some of the Jordan District in Amsterdam. She engaged everyone in the group and created situations in which we engaged with each other across the group. This was very useful to us as the canal cruise is in pretty tight quarters. I didn’t love all the food, but I didn’t dislike any of it. That’s just how Dutch food is; good but not great. But, as a tour, I’d recommend this one, especially if Elena is your guide.

Suzanne, what a legend! So much cheese

Suzanne took us through a fun 1 hour cheese and paired beverage (wine/Beer etc.) tasting. Included in the presentation was some history and cheese making insights from the Henry Willis farm. We were all amazed at the volume of cheese that was offered to us, and the wine smacked. This experience is a must do on your trip to Amsterdam. Thank you Suzanne!!!!
