Stellar tour with Raghda🌟
This was an amazing walking tour made even better by Raghda. She was passionate and enthusiastic about Venice and shared that with us. She is a person with very positive vibes and it was a delight being with her the entire time. Highly recommend!!!

Fascinating and relaxed half-day tour
This was a relaxed half-day trip to the islands of Murano and Burano. My group had ~12 people and we traveled in a small, comfortable boat. Our guide Serena was very friendly and knowledgeable, and informed us about the history of Venice and its component lagoon islands as we passed them. The demonstrations of glassblowing and lace-making were quite quick but it was fascinating to see masters at work using traditional techniques. We had plenty of time for shopping at both sites and even to grab a quick chiccetti in Burano in our free time.

Lots of stairs and fun with Clair our guide!
Be sure to know the meeting spot for the start of the tour and be prepared to walk several flights of stairs. There is only 2 places to stop and rest/sit and 2 locations with public toilets (both will be very busy). Tour is worth taking and our guide Clair was the BEST! High energy, memorized all names of everyone in the group and made the history part of the tour fun.

Spectacular St Mark's Basilica and Doge's Palace
The Doge's Palace and St Mark's Basilica are worth taking a tour to hear about the history and to see how beautiful they are.
I would caution anyone with leg or knee issues to use the elevator in Doge's Palace. The number of steps to climb to different levels is overwhelming.

This experience was...
This experience was awesome. Ana was our food tour guide and she was absolutely amazing! We enjoyed discovering the hidden and authentic places in town. This is a must-do. It was great to get away from the tourisy district and discover places that represent the roots of the city.

Great tour
We enjoyed the tour with Julia. It was great to have a local Venitian shows us Venice. It was very informative and gave us a great overview of the city and history. Great that we went through the not so busy parts of the city as well.
Would recommend for sure.

Shannon, our guide, was...
Shannon, our guide, was terrific. She was very knowledgeable and explained the history we were seeing in a very interesting, easy to understand, and informative manner. We really enjoyed our tour. This is a must do experience for anyone who visits Venice.

Hidden Venice walking tour
I learned a lot about Venice and its history during this walking tour - I saw a lot of things I didn't even know existed like the park outside the highschool. I didn't even know about the Jewish Gheto or the history of the word Gheto which in Venice did not mean what I understand of the word.

Easy pace with great food
Our guide Toni was great. He gave interesting bits of history during the tour. Pace was easy, even with my bad knees. Toni made sure I was ok going over the bridges. At each tasting stop Toni explained a bit about the ownership/history of the place. The food tasting was great. To end the tour with gelato was perfect.

Communicative and flexible to our schedule
Shaheer was excellent. He was very communicative the days previous to us arriving in Venice and adjusted his schedule to accommodate 2 last minute timing changes due to our transportation being rerouted.
He was a local and a Masters student in Venice, so excellent knowledge and great discussion.
I would suggest that 2 hour is probably the right amount to give you your bearings and understand the “why” of Venice.

Great food and local wine YUM
We had a wonderful time with our guide Sara. She provided us with a variety of Italian food that was delicious and was accompanied by wine from the region. I was surprised that none of it was pizza or tomato based pasta but all of it was super delicious. Highly recommend the tour.

First time in Venice.
If you go in summer just be reminded that the Doge Palace is not air condition and is very warm inside so take a fam and water.
Saying that, it was a fantastic tour and our guide was so knowledgeable about everywhere she took us. Lizza was lovely and always encouraged questions and apologised for her English but she needn’t as she was brilliant.
The gondola ride was amazing and fun.
Would definitely recommend this tour.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Venice is completely closed to traffic, but its maze of alleys and canals is almost impenetrable to a first-time visitor. Skip the hassle of following a map and see the A-list sights and quiet neighborhoods far from the tourist crush with a walking tour of Venice. Choose an express tour to get your bearings or a longer half- or full-day tour for a deep dive into the city’s history and culture with a private guide or a small group. For the full Venice experience, explore the city by land and water with a combination walking tour and gondola ride.
