What are people saying about Sistine Chapel

Highlight of our trip to Rome
Everything was perfect. Caroline was a terrific guide. She explained so much about everything in the Vatican museum and told us so much about what we were going to see in the Sistine Chapel. Then she walked us around St. Peter’s Basilica at the end which was an incredible experience. She never rushed us and stopped repeatedly to make sure everyone in our group of 19 was accounted for. This was a great tour and the highlight of our trip to Rome.

Me and my friend did the semi-private tour of the Vatican museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica. It was amazing. Our tour guide Davide was great. He was very knowledgeable about everything we saw and I learned a lot. The semi-private tour was helpful because we only had 10 in our group, which made it easier navigating around the busy crowds. I highly recommend this tour.

Worth it!
The breakfast is a unique experience inside the courtyard of the Vatican. Though not completely private, as the restaurant is open to all visitors, the Vatican and Sistine chapel were significantly less crowded than they would’ve been if we went later in the day. That plus the lack of lines was benefit enough. Our tour guide was amazing. She had a fantastic balance of explaining to us the history and letting us absorb the immense art and awesomeness around us

  • Seeing Michelangelo's frescoes can be unforgettable even for kids if seen as part of a small-group or kid-friendly Sistine Chapel and Vatican tour.

  • Because the chapel is a Catholic church with a dress code. Wear clothing that covers your shoulders and knees and maintain decorum by keeping your voice low.

  • Though photography (without flash) is permitted in the Vatican Museums, no photography is allowed in the Sistine Chapel.
