Worth Every Yuan!

I booked this tour for myself and colleagues who were visiting the city and wanted a unique experience. Our guide (Jim) reached out prior to arrival and gave me helpful instructions on where to meet. Our group (3) joined 2 others, and it was a perfect sized tour (5) for the walk and venues. Jim was so kind and knowledgeable, and he really took the time to offer history and a view into the day to day lives of those living in Shanghai and what they ate. Admittedly I was a curious as to the quality considering the cost - I am sure you can find cheaper tours), however all those thought quickly evaporated when we met Jim and headed off on our tour. We visited hole in the wall businesses, fruit and tea shops, dumplings and parks, soups and steam buns. My colleagues were very grateful for the experience and so was I - i would recommend wholeheartedly.

His clear explanations and thoughtful planning made the tour relaxing and enjoyable from start to finish. Zhujiajiao itself was absolutely beautiful—truly something out of a postcard. The peaceful canals, traditional architecture, stone bridges, and scenic streets made it feel like stepping back in time. It is easy to see why the town is known for its picturesque waterways and historic charm. We highly recommend this tour, especially with Michael as your guide. Had a wonderful time learning about "old and new" China. Michael was a fantastic guide, he spoke excellent English! Our driver, Mr. Liu navigated the city traffic easily. What an Exceptional Tour of Shanghai

I had no idea that I was in for such a fun-filled and adventurous time. My guide Céline had a great understanding of Chinese history and knew Shanghai like the back of her hand. We covered so much territory in one day with special surprises at every turn; from the malls to the metro, it felt like we visited every angle Shanghai had to offer, albeit zipping thru China’s largest Starbucks, or cruising by the massive Louie Vuitton street vessel, or wandering thru beautiful Yuyuan Gardens or even pooping atop one of the highest observatories in the city to see breathtaking views and take spectacular shots, there was so so much to see. The highlight for me however was seeing a dusk view of Shanghai’s tallest building, Shanghai Tower and its neighboring buildings begin to magically light-up the night’s sky. I’ve been on many a tour during my travels across the plant, but this had to be the most exciting. Thank you Céline for such an amazing and great experience, one which I will never ever forget.

Outstanding part of my Shanghai trip. It’s a hike from city center—and traffic can make this a pain, so you might consider a train/metro option—but the town itself was so cool. Casual small boat cruise to start and then walking around the area. Great restored garden. Lots of cool local shops. Great food. HIGHLY recommend
