Absolutely amazing experience viewing Caldeira das Sete Cidades! Although there were dozens of people hiking, there’s no way you could take in all the sights in this area unless you’re doing it by vehicle. The Land Rover was very comfortable and felt safe for the 7 guests. Daniel, the tour guide was knowledgeable about the entire island and asked us what we wanted to see and customized a bit of the drive for us. This experience is well worth it!

Experience amazing views in difficult to reach areas with ease.

Our guide was great and spoke English very well. He took us to amazing view points on the island that can only be reached by hiking or off-road vehicle. The buffet Lunch was also very good. It's a great option for those with limited mobility or unable to hike steep trails for long distances. Note the Landrover can be bumpy and difficult to get in and out. Request a vehicle with step if this is a concern for you.

**A full day of learning all about São Miguel! We covered so much ground, and I came away with a real appreciation for the island's vegetation, history, architecture, and culture. My guide was incredibly knowledgeable— a true wealth of information — and happy to go at whatever pace suited us, answering every question along the way. Lunch was wonderful too. Fantastic tour

José was a brilliant tour guide, he was extremely knowledgeable about all the Azores islands and we learnt a lot from him in a short space of time. He gave us plenty of time at each of the sight seeing points, and the option of a short walk around one of the lakes which was lovely. He also took us around some if the rim of the crater, which we wouldn't have been able to access in a car. One of our favourite trips of our holiday.

A week's worth of fun in one day

Spectacular Scenery, Perfect Guided Tour

This tour covered the western area of the island. Stopped off enroute to Sete Cidades for some amazing photo opportunities of the rugged coastline. There was a welcome refreshment stop half way through the tour which lasted around 4.5hrs. Ana, my friendly tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable, full of enthusiasm and positive energy. I left the tour feeling I had learned so much and made a new connection. Thank you. 😃
